I was standing right on the inside corner, as you can see 77 was no where near a racing line and never going to make the corner. The crash ruined the start of one of the feature races at NZ's premier street event.

What you don't see out of shot is the experienced racers parking in the way to reduce the risk of injured riders being run over and killed.

Shame that it seems all you need to go racing these days in money and not talent.

Thanks for that. We walked the track with a international rider two days before the meeting and I asked him about this corner, His advice was to stay away from the inside of the corner. Advice that was not taken. Thanks to all those other riders that parked themselves on the track to stop further injury/incidents.
