Hmm, might be a lower content wolfdog, but definitely not a wolf or high content there. Especially with that curl in the tail as seen at 0:42 seconds, among other visable features. Either way, very cute video...always love watching woofies play! :)
@wolfdogfostermom i dont think curling has anything to do with whether he is high content or not....his tail is straight all the time except for when he is excited which u can see with all types of wolf dogs...hell i have even seen videos of wild wolfs with their tails curled when they were excited
@dirtcycle440, Yes it does actually. Just like a pure wolf having blue eyes, them curling their tails like huskies/malamutes is EXTREMELY uncommon. And I doubt your boy is the exception to the rule. And his tail is VERY curled, not even just curved. Aside from his very large, pointed (and not well-furred) ears, his head shape, muzzle and overall build (especially his legs and chest) nothing about his screams "lots of wolf" or pure wolf for that matter at all. He is a handsome boy regardless
But go look at a few of my (or my favorited) videos. I have many videos of low, mid and high content wolfdogs as well as pure wolves. Big, big difference.
@dirtcycle440, Actually it does. Nothing about him is really wolfy. Sorry. And I also have seen a pure wild wolf curl its tail...do you know how often that happens? Not enough to make your boy the "exception to the rule."
@awsoume23 don't bother getting one they are hard to maintain and you have to get before their 19th day and you need to have wolf milk when they are puppies and hey are not as responsive to commands as dogs also they are not to friendly to strangers(so friends, family, random ppl)
210 pounds is far too big for any dog. Even a wolf.
My last GSD (Long coat) was very shy and unapproachable by anyone. I couldn't take him to many public places because he would shut down and fight off anything that he considered a threat. Numerous times people would ask if he was a wolf dog. Not a chance. He was just the result of bad genetics. Common in German Shepherds.
I do love your dogs. The snow video is fantastic!! My boy would probably take me through the trees if I tried that. lol
husky would beat him.. huskys are soo strong..

I love when dogs really play rough. So much fun to watch. Nobody can tire a dog out as well as another dog.
I say Malamute GSD mix too. :32 very much a GSD face. Same with the long tail.

My dogs play like that too! :) So cute! Both are husky mixes right? Both have that curly husky tail!!
