@moteymoney Yeah you would need a full face helmet and a few pads as it's quite a steep hill with a lot of drop to the side as you go down and jumps when you dont expect them!
@KiwiMurfy Ah right nice :) You know as soon as you got on the main DH trail and went over the bit where all of the paths cross then you go around the berm, well you know when you turned right down that really steep bit i cant do that bit and i really want to! How do you do it?? It looks really hard and looks easy to come off! I can do everything up the hill but that :( !!
@motorcrosser12 Probably the worst looking bit on the course. nice slow entry, hang off the back of the bike, try and keep off the front brake as much as possible to keep the front end nice and light, pushing outside pedal down, looking toward the exit.
Not as difficult as it looks, brake bumps are interesting but main thing is to let the bike roll as much as possible
Yh mate i did =) I'm quite keen on it now :D lol 1st time i went down it i was like "shit shit shit" and by the time i said all of hat i had ended! All i need to do now is to get my friend to do it lol.
@motorcrosser12 spend time between there, painswick/cranham/barrow wake, out in the forest and the occasional trip over stroud way.
If you like leki you would like the forest cycle centre, lots of downhill tracks. They are a bit longer and better looked after. You should get over there
Yh, I've been to The FoD tracks at the cycle center =) I love them :D lol i reckon they should have a few more jumps though! As they only have the 20 footer and a few other jumps :-/
Yeah i tried it :-) ... It was fun but kind of hard because it was really wet when i went up and my back tire was slipping every where! But yeah your advice helped! So thanks :-)
Looks cool dude.

would this be a full face helmet run?? I live in Glos and was gonna check it out?

I don't bother personally but a lot of the lads that do the jumps do (body armour too). If you are a decent rider and careful it should be ok

@KiwiMurfy I only wear a Helmet with goggles and shin pads for the quarry jumps! Well i reckon you should try them ;) What bike have you got?
