Actually the character customization isnt all that great imo..rather disappointing. I've seen much better in other games. And alot of the hairstyles for human/elf females are just lame.

I think not everyone wants a complicated game such as EQ. Frankly, I'd rather have a simpler game such as WoW because I prefer it...not because I think its better than another game. Its personal opinion. (Though, im definately going to give EQII a shot sometime soon :D)

Yeah, wasting hours of my time killing mobs of trash and doing tedious and repetitive dungeons is way more amusing than a game that is made by the founders of MMO. Nothing is the same. I was a WoW player for a very long time, and let me just say, EQ1 and EQ2 destroy WoW. There is no comparison. WoW is very commercially supported and used by anyone that has a brain of a 12 year old, if you want to return back to strategy and RPG roots, EQ2 is the game.

If you are referring to Eq2 its prolly b/c you have a piece of shit comp that can run WoW but doesnt have the ability to run the more advanced game eq2. Combat play is amazing, its open world pvp and fast paced what more could you ask for.

In my opinion, you have to give both games a try, i doubt I can get to the level cap in the trial period, but I'm pretty sure that I'll find some things in EQ2 that are better than WoW and vice versa.

It's amusing how fan boys/girls can defy logic and say that EVERYTHING about something else completely sucks when there is something better.

Everquest and WoW.. its impossible to say which is better. Everyone will have their own oppinion, and their own aspects of each game they consider to be better. Personally, I like EQ for its community and customisation. But I like WoW for basically everything else...

I play both, because both have things in them I like.

I wouldn't necesarilly say it's better;, they're just completely different games. Once you play it you'll see that it has a much different theme to it.

I have been thinking of ditching wow for this game. i have heard good things of EQII. Im waiting for patchingon my free trial...3 dang hours :p hopefully its as good as ive heard and what videos have shown!! Thanks for this vid showing how customizable it is. Definitly a big change from WOW

Yes, it is definitely a big change and step up from World of Warcraft, I've played both, and I agree that the community in EverQuest II is much more mature and friendly than in WoW.

Only problem with EQ2 is that you pretty much need a super-computer to run it an the desirable specifications.

Yeah, sorry, When I compressed it, everything became harder to see. But basically, they just have sliders to adjust things such as cheek size,etc.
