@dtpc19199 A person after my own heart! I agree with you 150%! I've never been able to pick their best songs and everytime I listen to a track I pick up new meaning and definition of sound. Legends and my all-time favorite band!
I think it's great how you always stick with the era of the album - really well done. POP was a rushed production, but even that couldn't hide the talent. The evolution of this band has always fascinated me. What enables four men to create music like this?
I don't wanna upset anyone, but this would make a great dedication to Michael Jackson - I mean if you listen to all the words, you gotta know what I mean. Do you know what I mean?
I can't disagree with you. I ctually could shuffle these around any day of the week. How can anyone really give a list like this justice? They're ALL fucking BRILLIANT!!! CHEERS!!!
my special top veneZuelan ! My favorite (love is blindness) after... º1.bullet the blue sky 2.kite 3.until the end of world 4.beautiful day 5.magnificent 6.gone 7.mysterious ways 8.holdme, thrillme, kissme, killme 9. in the name of love 10.One 11.walk on 12. al i want is you and all songs. i that no writhe
MY u2 top ten 1.gone 2.sunday bloody sunday 3.celebration 4.with or without you 5. city of blinding lights 6. two hearts 7.gloria 8. i will follow 9. electrical storm 10. october 9.
My U2 Top Ten: 1. Magnificent 2. Exit 3. Electrical Storm 4. Until the End of the World 5. Red Hill Mining Town 6. City of Blinding Lights 7. One 8. Stay (Far away, So Close!) 9. Gone 10. Crumbs from Your Table
lol hmm this is super hard.. top 10: 1. until the end of the world 2. sunday bloody sunday (live: u2 go home) 3. d0 You fEEl l0VeD 4. if god will send his angels 5. whos gonna ride ure wild horses 6. zoo station 7. new york 8. miracle drug 9. the fly 10. ill go crazy, if i dnt go crazy tonight
I would really love to give BOY a higher spot since IMO the BEST debut album of any band... EVERY song on BOY is fantastic, plus U2 kept on using BOY as the backbone of their live shows for OCTOBER-WAR. I also decided on this list by how many songs I keep replaying. Hope you like it.
Classic song. I think its one of U2's top ten songs : 1. Where the streets have no name 2. With or without you 3. I still haven't found what I'm looking for 4. One 5. Magnificent 6. Gone 7. The Fly 8. Mercy 9. New Year's Day 10. Bad 11-150+.????? (too many to name)
Top Ten? Did some one say Top Ten? 1. Bad 2. With or Without you 3. Pride 4. One 5. Running to Stand Still 6. Streets 7. New Years Day 8. Walk on 9. The Fly 10. Acrobat In my most humble opinion. Bad is always number 1 but after that it starts to depend on the day/time/weather/mood. St. Ashlar NC USA
Wow, u2mixer! I think your video captures the spirit of the song perfectly. This is my favorite version of the song, too. Thank you for sharing, and keep up the good work!
Really great vid! Pop is my favorite U2 album as well.edescuderoayala, I agree with what you said. I hope we see some similar characteristics with the new album.
Great melodies, lyrics and vocals. great, inovative music. U2's edgiest work to date.
Very good video. This is my favorite version of the song. I remember them playing this live at PopMart and the sound of Edge's guitar almost knocked me over the back of my seat lol.
It's a pity this LP was so underrated, specially this song. It's the biggest exponent of rock strength U2 has ever done since Bullet the Blues Sky until Vertigo. It is the nexus between 90s and 00's exposed in ultra tomb guitars and keyboards, vocal plays and drum sets that remind other times. And mostly, it is the best Adams bass guitar album Ive ever heard. The only weakness is that needed a bit more production. Open up your ears to the remixed singles of POP and you'll know what I mean.
Great video. I like the "roughness" of this version of Gone, it's a harsh song (in temperament), and one of the highlights of the "rough", but creative Pop album.
I totally agree with "dude you've got some serious talent.." comment. Very well done. It's a great song and so is the footage you picked. I agree with you about using the footage from the area the song came out.
por lejos.. una de las canciones más emotivas de U2

you wanted to get somewhere so badly
you kinda lose yourself along the way
you change your name, but that's okay, it's necessary
what you leave behind you don't miss anyway
Goodbye... you can keep this suit of lights, ill be up with the sun... im not coming down.

You can't really pick a top 10 for U2. Their list of brilliant songs starts on track 1 of Boy and ends on track 11 of No Line On the Horizon.

I'm obsessed with this song right now! It took me a while to get into it, and the Pop album in general but now I think it's great.
Another brave metamorphis of their style, which was a bit too far for a lot of fans unfortuneately.
