i have a few questions, i have a ps2 without internet and i really want to race online, do i have to buy something special or whatever? but how can i go online??

get cat6-e cable and a network adapter(network adapter IIIIFFFFFF!!!! you have the old ps2) if you have the slim, then just the cat6-e cable and that is just it. when you try to enter online mode, you can create an account right on the spot

yeeh, im connected with that cable to our network adapter, but i can only go online when i choose LAN but then i cant race against anybody else.. cuz online won't work.. can you maybe help me..

Wow, 10 months ago, LOL! Anyways, did you use an Online Start-up Disk? It should have came with the slim PS2. I think the newer scph-90000 models have them too. Some games already have the network configurations built-in, but I wouldn't trust them. If you have the Online Start-Up Disk, use it now, If not, borrow it from someone else, it's not illegal. That is my only guess so far. If the problem is still there or not the answer you were looking for, then just message me.

u don't press anything before it starts? or while it's counting down? nothing?!

Nope. You don't do anything whatsoever. You can see the camera move in as the race counts down- that's how you know it's going to happen. It's just a random glitch in the game or some stange form of lag.. or a combo of both.

when you press the X button a fourth of a second after it turns green, you get a turbo boost that puts you in first and you get an almost full turbo bar

You don't do anything. It's a glitch that can happen but doesn't that often. I just usually have a tape around when it does. =)
