I recently saw JJ Grey & Mofro in Salt Lake City, Ut, They were the warm up band For Jonny Lang, it should have been the other way around. This is a headline band, never taking backseat to any other artist. I am now a huge fan....
I'm afraid someday our South's gonna be a land of golf courses and developed neighborhoods. I hope tiny places like Lake Loch and others will be untouched for decades to come.

Supurb mini-documentary on the album and the characteristics of JJ's songs. Really appreciated the comments from the Alligator Records fellow. He has an understanding of the meanings in the music.

Straight beautiful..JJ& mofro have been blowing my mind for nearly 10 yrs now and I love the fact that he has not "blown up" or gained more reconnition...they have a great following and really dont think they want that "main stream" thing...(sorry cliverso1)..but there plenty big enough...and that would mean all the small shows ive seen him at and fests would go away cuz he got to big, so stay small, stay trueJJ. Thanks for all the great music thats my soundtrack to my life...

Love that Black water up there in N. Florida...any of those fresh water springs,
Ginnie, Silver, Silver Glen, Blue, Poe, Green Cove etc...
They all are truly alive with nature, just like JJ Grey -
