thousands of stray dogs and cats in Los Angeles? and no one willing to even take care of them? ok that's just stupid, why would you get the dogs or cats for if you can't take care of them and have abandon them like that? they do have feeling just like us too!

@AllThatAndMore99 Most rescues don't have a facility to house animals, funds to cover boarding at a vet or kennel, or enough people willing to foster. They have to turn away animals because of it and it breaks their hearts. My family just adopted a dog and she was in foster care for over a year. Long term, dedicated foster homes can be hard to come by.

The state should pay you for the work that you do. It's really a full time job, and local agencies can't keep up with the need.

people are the real animals! can't believe the "throw away" mentality.that city has a problem with it people not the dogs..too bad.nothing like that here,one dog loose on the street and everyone rushes in to save them.more like you guys would save the city.a better tomorrow from these vids will come......peace...

One more thing, if anyone does go to the mean streets to rescue a dog and that dog has a beloved partner, please save them both and keep them together. Otherwise try to find a dog who's alone. My dogs have always been street rescues, and they become the most lovable & wonderful companions you could know.

Yes, anyone who wants to give a dog a good home only needs to go into these areas and find one. If everyone did this, instead of going to those disgusting puppy mill outlet stores, or helping breeders profit by creating more misery, the problem could decrease or even disappear. I'll say it again, puppy mills need to be done away with, permanently. Pet stores that sell AKC puppies need to be boycotted until they stop it.

Thank you you are wonderful ! The government is guilty for this condition, they dont care for pups, they dont care for anything, they dont have soul ....poor abandoned and lost souls ...

Emmy is just a total sweetheart. I hope the ears settle, but I fear she may need to have those bumps removed surgically. They may be tumors of some sort. I will have a little slide video of both dogs up soon. Thanks for your help.

Looks great Eldad, wish I could have been there. I am the one that does all the website, pictures etc. I took pictures or Frasier and Emmy yesterday, I was just sorting through them when Marilyn told me to take a look. I was brushing Frasier yesterday, when he finally acted like he could relax a little and laid his head on my lap. He has such a concerned looked on his face as if he is bearing the weight of the world on his shoulders. Confused yesterday, but at least I had him at ease relaxing.

I myself have 2 dogs who were born on the street in curacao, 1 dog from belgium, she was just left behind by her owners on the street...and next month i am getting a 10 year old dog from spain, his owner died and the son was supposed to take care of him..instead he brought him to the shelter..and shelters in spain are full with 200 to 500 dogs...
