•i'm going crazy cuz i don't know what you're saying at 2:21 even though i've watched it over and over and over again!

•come to portland with alana cuz i'm moving back to the WEST SIDE next week ^__^

  • • "Also, I was actually approved for a Bob view waver sum and I'm getting a check in the mail and I'm super excited!" Bob view waver sum. That's what he said. I am not making this up.

  • "also i was actually approved for a BOG fee waiver so".

bog. not bob. it's where the gov't pays for your classes...

  • Ohhhh.

  • hi drew!

  • If you're smart you'll simply go to the library and check out the books on your reading list instead of buying them. I saved a ton that way. I was an English major as well.

  • oh that's a good idea. i actually got some from a friend that had taken the american lit class but then i did end up buying the british lit book. it was expensive like 90 bucks.

  • Yeah, those collection books are a killer. They change one or two stories in them each year so they become required and the old book is outdated. Its a friggin crime. Even so, keep in touch with fellow E. Majors in the department. Often via word of mouth you can find someone trying to unload a copy of those used on their own. I really networked and saved a lot. Good luck. What are you reading? I had a novel class and we read a book every two weeks. I think my eyes bled. My brain was swimming.

  • all of the buildings there are made of bricks.

  • Your college record effects you because college takes initiative whereas H.S. is required and not that hard to get through. If you blow off the hard stuff in college what's to keep you from blowing off difficult aspects of a job? That's the rationale. Those who meet challenges well in college are perceived as go getters. Why do you have to take all the English classes? Is it part of your G.E.? Bring it up again and we'll vote on it.

  • because i chose an english major. yeah i know that that's why i shouldn't allow myself to drop classes and get bad grades.
