It was okay Hallowen 2. The visual effect like when Michel cut that guys head of were very realistic. There were only few monments that startled me. Lopius was kind of a jerk in this one in the original movies. The appeared in 1 2 and 4 at least he was a very nice guy.

Triva fact there was supposed to be 8 Hallowen movies in the original series. That happen because of all those complaint they had about Season of the which. Had the called it season of witc.h It would have been better maybe?

I just picked up Halloween 2 on BluRay. I missed it in the theater. I was disappointed in this. I mean right off the bat they used a different kid for the young Michael Myers. Good Review, but just one thing...Halloween 2 wasn't really shot in HD. It was shot on Super16 and later blowed-up for the 35mm prints.

But I agree the lighting was really cheesy-looking and almost 2-Dimensional. I guess that they needed it to be authentic looking.

Halloween 2 was way better than Zombie's first remake. It could've had more suspense to it but aside from that it was a really entertaining, well-shot horror film. And Malcolm McDowell was able to play a character much more suited to his acting style. Not to mention, Scout Taylor-Compton is f#cking gorgeous.

I'd say that it's just his interpretation of the story, which I thought was very interesting. The second one was better than the first, too. It wasn't as erotic.

I only saw The Final Destination in 2-D, so I didn't get to see that effect. I think that the third one's the best, too. Actually, the John Woo (1 and 3)FD films were better than the others. You can tell how different they are with the different directors. That Ellis guy just....doesn't do it for me with the FD movies. :/
