What are u talking about socafeva! This program saved me! I had horrible dyslexia at age 6 I took it 4 a month I am 15 now and can read great! I am EXTREMLY offended by ur statement because without it I wouldn't be able 2 type these words now so STFU!!
I guess FernAvery attended a Reading Recovery class. You spelled "relevant" wrong. Reading Recovery is failing our students worldwide. It's time we put it to rest.
Thinking of using this clip with my staff as our school is new to Reading Recovery programme this year...does anyone know of a similiar clip with an Australian accent/English accent?
I think there's something disingenuous about this. Whole Word/Whole Language creates children who can't read. Reading Recovery then gives the children a big dose of the SAME, but individually and at great expense. Why not teach the children to read properly in the first place? Whole Word doesn't do that.
