If i did watch this from the beginning? I could quite easily think that was a real plane. So , i never knew till quite recently there is a whole world out there of people who fly some serious remote planes helicopters etc. So now am thinking ,for all i know all the UFO's could be mostly these very real looking objects? Just a thought ! Even though i still believe we are not alone!
That EDF jet looks like it would be good for FPV flight, quick, agile, steady slow flight, well balanced... Is the nose gear sensitive? Or were you fighting the wind on taxi... Nice demo...

I actually got the hc hobby ef2000. I love it. great 1st edf, very touchy but easy to fly with experience. I should have a vid on my channel within the week. great jet nitroplanes, i'm ready for another :)
i should have mine soon, in the mail as i write. cant wait. looks like its a good first edf. lots of flight time with high and low wing and helis. we will see :)
I never have fly these kind of airplanes or jets, it is easy to fly one of these airplanes, I mean if I buy one do I have to do any training or Its something easy to fly for a person that has never fly this...? thank you...
@R1carpilot Hey R1carpilot! Great questions! For anyone who wants to begin the hobby, our hobbyists would recommend starting with planes that are a high wing trainer, such as the J3 Piper. Then you can move to a 4channel high wing, later you move to a low-wing 4 channel, then a quick warbird, then a jet. Most hobbyists who jump the gun will last 30 seconds flying a jet before a crash and we want to make sure you have a great first experience with the hobby before anything else! -cn
Never buy from Nitroplanes or banana hobby. Last plane I bought from NitroPlanes had a RX that did not work 99% of the time. Well it went out in flight(First flight) and caused a crash destroying the brushless motor and nose of the aircraft. Also I thought I would add that after several attempts to contact NitroPlanes about this problem they never got back to me.. Go figure.
Nah! Most jets out there are relatively easy to fly! I have a foam jet the same size which was my second rc plane (first was a trainer with only rudder & elevator) & I found it easier than the trainer plane! Flown it heaps & crashed many times but always been able to fix it.....I highly recommend EDF foam jets! They're cool! They sound awesome & they're fast!
T-boned a tree at full speed once..tore it in half with pieces everywhere but was flying 20 minutes later! Bit like an expensive jigsaw..
the funny thing is the eurofighter is actually designed to be unstable in flight it would fall out of the sky if the computers weren't constantly adjusting the canards? so this design cannot be all true to life!
how many planes have pilots in it? hopefully all of the ones i ever get in
@yascumbag quite true there however the actual Eurofighter has a much greater weight and therefore different flight characteristics. A model such as this with a great power to weight ratio and being much lighter means the model not only reacts and handles different but also the set-up (Where radio gear goes, COG config, actual thrust produced) is all different also.
Looks fun, But at that speed i think i would crash so much, especially seeing as I havent Flown in 2 years :P Im gna take my cessna out for a little spin on my school grounds :D yaya.. Wish me luck
I have trouble believing 64mm EDFs have that kind of thrust and endurance. Must be the sweet LiPos that make it work. With NiMH it is hard enough to get 1:1-ratio using a big prop.
Jets are meant to be flown at high speed. The only way it could break "easy" is if you crashed. I do not think any Jet on this planet can stay in one piece after a real crash.
@nitroplanes gmarkoglou is right I happen to own one and even transporting it to the flying field is hard without it breaking and then after trying to get it there it won't take off on my clubs short-grass flying feild which means we need to hand launch were it normally stalls and I just save it. I think it is extremely gimikey and wouldn't buy another one, Instead I would buy an IC aircraft or one that doesn't break soo easy!
@gmarkoglou thats cuz these go like 80mph there made to be flown fast and not like those airhogs "jets" that have 2 little motors in the back that barely go 15 mph these arnt for novices like you
@XxstryaexX1 U R FUNNY DUDE !! r u top gun pilot or something ''Tom'' ? You wish to have my experience u dump !! Now go and play with your fake toys and when you r ready to have a real flight experience let me know, C U '' Top Gun '' ;) hahaha
@gmarkoglou um yea you are a novice these arnt beginner planes a real plane wouldnt last a crash these are scaled high powered edf and cant stand a 80 mpg crash but if you want i could recommend some airplane that actually take the crash and not toy grade theres a difference and btw when you said "dont buy these they break really easy" duh they do break real easy cuz these are hobby grade and for people who have alot of expperience in this hobby
@gmarkoglou um yea you are a novice these arnt beginner planes a real plane wouldnt last a crash these are scaled high powered edf and cant stand a 80 mpg crash but if you want i could recommend some airplane that actually take the crash and not toy grade theres a difference and btw when you said "dont buy these they break really easy" duh they do break real easy cuz these are hobby grade and for people who have alot of experience in this hobby
Dude these plans suck! show the real story like how the battery only goes for 3 minutes, And how the plane is made of cardboard or foam. Seriously! dont waste your money people. Most of these planes are too hard to fly and break before you master them.
It's made of hard foam. I don't think Jets were meant to be easy to fly and it takes practice to fly anything. I also do not think it would be possible to keep this hobby affordable if we started building with steel and having engines that can support it.
@silverpizza100 not so hard if you are experienced and even easier if you upgrade the motors and battery so.. I think you are a bit hard on those planes.. WITH NO EXPERIENCE AT ALL I FLEW MY FIRST EDF and still have it..
@SexyTerrorisT Yes sext.. alot of sim time. actually for 11 days till my plane came I was on the sim for at least 3 hours a day only flying a mig-15 which was the only EDF plane on the RealFlight G.4 Yes I crashed a lot but it was on the sim. YES the real thing is different cause you got stress and all. but I had a huge area of wheat field where I could safely land at first. Now 6 months later I'm more confident than ever that I can fly any kind of aircraft.
@ silverpizza100 THAT IS WHY YOU START WITH A TRAINER AND ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING BEFORE YOU BUY IT. ***AND ONE MORE THING, NONE OF THE PLANES ARE MADE OF CARDBOARD, OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE MADE OF FOAM** AND ITS NOT THE PLANES FAULT THAT YOU CANT FLY IT, IT. IS. YOURS.
i admit i suck. There I said it. But what I said about the battery an how they break is true. Kinda lost interest because of those facts. 120 bucks down the toilet. But you are not a beginner, so you cant understand. 120 buck down the drain man!
@silverpizza100 you really did skip a few years from when there was only balsa wood and alaminium models with gas engines havent you? things are moving on to more affordable planes to extend it to people who might not have as much money as you
I think edf jet companies should start phasing out 3 cell lipo's and start looking towards 4 cell 1500 mah lipo's.(bigger or smaller depending on the size of the jet) 3 cell are alright but there nothing to get excited about. It comes in handy having an extra 200 grams of thrust. It gives the jet a more 1:1 power/weight ratio.
The cost of the plane is $159 on Banana Hobby. Just bought mine should be here tomorrow. Its electric and the range on the new 2.4ghz system is 3000ft
hey you need to put a bomb droper on that plane with like a lighter and fire works in it put don't blow up the plane with the fire works i did that put there ws no camera on hand so can't show people
You guy´s have forgotten the Swedish/British Gripen!
You can ask any fighter pilots who been flying both Eurofighter and Gripen. And the versatility and STOL qualities is outstanding in Gripen. I know that to appoint a plane to be regarded as the best is a tough one if even possible. But Gripen is certainly in the top three. But I don't think there is a accidental occurrence that the Hungarian Gripen pilot "shoot down" the Eurofighter in a dogfight!
I love the video and think it's a great looking plane. But as someone who has made an Art Tech purchase before, I would strongly suggest to steer clear of this product or anything else from Art Tech. Firstly, the fueslage provided to me was used. Secondly, the controls had been reversed as stock so when I went to fire it up the first time, the prop went full throttle and injured me. Also, if your looking for spare parts for Art Tech- good luck cause you'll most likely have to get them from China
There were dents and stains on it. To top it off, I only got one flight off of it before the ESC was gone. I am an experienced flyer and I have never run into any major issues with any other airplanes. This is the only exception. Maybe it was just my bad luck but I would'nt test it :-)
Wow that sucks that you had such a bad experience there. I have a couple of the Art-Tech jets and they are really great and alot of fun to fly too.... I prefer the Exceed RC jets though, I find they are somewhat easier to fly. The majot selling point to me on the Art-Tech F-18 was that it came with a 2.4 Ghz radio which works really well.
Well I learned on a T-Rex 450 which is a really good heli, but that was before I really knew anything about coaxial heli's. I would have to say the CX2 is likely your best bet. It's a really good platform for learning the basics on and its on 2.4 Ghz as well.
@LuViNsP lol we should give up on snipers so just train them to fly pointy rc planes towards their targets heads imagine a world where JFK was assasinated by a tiny little plane comin at his motorcade being piloted from the grassy knoll
I purchased a plane from this company and it was about 70% complete.
