  • THERE'S A VIDEO TO THIS!HAHA.ITS LIKE A BLACK METAL VIDEO!!

  • Awesome!

  • vampiric drumandbass yeah gothic dums

  • Like a bad trip on a waltzer, in 'dem old b&w days

  • Breakbeats + Hardcore was a very good mix here. Alec is King.

  • Alec Empire is the god of alternative electronic music. From drum n bass to breakbeat, noisecore, dubstep, grime.... he pioneered all these styles. Thanks to all involved in the DHR scene but especially Alec

  • @industrialmonster666

    wow... no.

Alec had nothing to do with dubstep or grime. he dabbled in DnB, but not much AT ALL.

And he in no way pioneered breakbeat.

he IS however, the inventor of breakcore.

  • classic

  • must have been back in the good o'l days when mtv actualy played music instead of shity reality shows like the hills and jersey shore even mtv canada plays that shit buncha sellouts they are

  • who watches Mtv anymore?

  • mtv is everything that digital hardcore tries to destroy. its all bout the cash. search the digital hardcore documentary on youtube. with ATR interviews etc.

  • ill play it on my funeral

  • @tehWard0g omg id love to be at your funeral no offence

  • @Georgeowns :3

Well i guess that needs some time, im 19 now l0l

  • @tehWard0g lol awwwh Id just love to hear it there. tell me im invited to ur funneral and ill be happy

  • To the person comparing this to Prodigy... I think after you've heard a bit more electronic music you will see the difference between Empire and Prodigy (I enjoy both bands btw). It has more to do with the aggression in Alec's music... While the samples are indeed similar, they are just being purposed to different ends. I agree with the other posters. Breakbeats and Breakcore (or Digital Hardcore) are worlds apart.

  • Fuking epic!!

how could MTV mercantilist mind let these piece of art to be spreaded around the world under it's label....I mean MTV = comercial pourposes only , Alec Empire = Anti-sistem activist against mercantilim..... it's kind of weird... despite the fact MTV is worst now a days..

  • @plexpara, no it dont, not there old stuff :P

  • LOL, Alec rules the prodigy anyday.

  • @Plexpara Hold on for just a second, this track does resemble the original prodigy sound, almost the same breakbeats (altough different in speed and harshness) and the hovering sound characteristic to the rave music (prodigy - charlie) . But yes, it goes only as far as that.

  • Comment removed

  • @Plexpara it's not because alec was first it doesn't have any resemble, they use 2 samples wich are the exact same.

  • @Plexpara Joe Beltram - Mentasm

  • @windigoneurosis I believe that original sample source is Joe Beltram - Mentasm

  • @mariomrh Come to daddy de Aphex Twin

  • I listen to alot of different Genre's, but alot of the Breakbeat Hardcore/Jungle music from the early to mid 90s, you'll never get that excellence again...

  • 72 rocznik? niemożliwe..... zbyt piękny!

  • This song is so epic and energetic. Always puts me in a good mood.

  • great music, funny video

  • brutality O.O

    great xd

  • MTV was worth something in the 90's.

00's upwards = consumer recreation shit & brainwashing.

  • hellz yeah, lokito. word.

  • why doesn't MTV play videos like this any more?

instead of that flo rider,T.I,T-Pain bullshit music

  • the more mainstream the clips, the more money they get from advertisement. only a select group likes this unfortunately.

but there used to be special hours reserved for "different" music styles if I recall correctly.

  • wel so are you , because you cant cope with the audiosignals , doesent mean everybodey else is a "#¤%¤# moron....like you

  • and you´re an fucking idiot

    racist´s are idiots

so go and fuck you´re sister or brother

  • empire is not goth - its called DIGITAL HARDCORE

  • This is sweet!

  • oh...my...goth

  • ALLEGRIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA XDXDXD

  • Sounds extremely like the prodigy, man!

  • Sounds extremely like Bizzy B, man!

  • Yeah, except Alec was doing this shit back when those Prodigy dudes were still in diapers.

  • what prodigy was there very early 90s

  • 1990 in fact and atari teenage riot formed in 1992

  • prodigy started when You were wearing diapers and Alec when you were potty training. Like , litteraly.

  • It took you three replies to say that?

And by the way, Alec started actively DJing in 1990...possibly earlier. ATR was a band that he formed...he had been making music on his own before then and has continued to since.

If I'm correct, Prodigy actually started recording demos in 1991.

Either way, let's face it, Prodigy just sort of rode on the coat tails of the DHR movement.

  • you should watch the documentary " the history of house music "

Prodigy comes more from acid house . Their first single Android is a house track.

And yes im posting from a ps3 in my living room and it sometimes is clumsy hence 3 replies.

  • "Prodigy just sort of rode on the coat tails of the DHR movement. "

Most ignorant comment I've read in a while...

  • fuck off mtv.fuck the system

  • yeeeaaahhh

  • DHR rules!!!

  • Not bad, props to Alec, why cant his new music sound like this?

  • gravediggaz are present here. original breakcore!!

  • :)this is so naive

it's funny to see this after all the thing that alec have done

    kind of funny

    go alec go

  • this is really nasty

  • Slaves of the world unite!

  • The coolest hoover-lead I've ever heard! :')

    My favourite track of Alec!

  • i gotta say, my favorite part is seeing Joel, Moonraker, & Carl in corpsepaint. hah.

  • alex empire war mal bei mtv? - cool!^^

  • alec empire is hands down the best artist. No one!, even trent or ministry can come even close

  • MTV doesn't deserve this, and shame on Phillip for releasing the rights.

  • haha, I guess you`re too radical at this point.

If mtv audience doesn`t like it, they would simply take it of the air, if they do like it - who are we to say what people deserve, it`s like fascism then.

  • Its just bastardized when its on mtv. do you think people are going to be channel surfing, find this and then want to tear down capitalism?

  • yes, that was always Alec's idea....almost everything he does is about fucking with people's minds, so they "question" their surroundings....

  • Glad This Video is back on Youtube! This is the track what made me got into Alec's material. His 90's Works we're the greatest. Love this video! cheers for uploading!
