  • This is cool

  • freaking brilliant!!!!!

  • I've tried it out and I love it! They just turned out a bit to BIG :D

I'm wearing them in my snowqueen entry to a contest and I've posted a link to your video down below because this method is just awesome! :)

  • This is soooo awesome would it work if u cut da lashes smaller????

  • That is so awesome! :) I should have watched this video halloween.. I tried to make my own eyelashes using my hair.. I trimmed my hair, but I couldn't do it haha :P

  • this is awesome! I was searching how to make my own and found you which ofcourse ive been subscribed to for awhile now. and im just now seeing this video :P

  • @herAddiction88 That's great! Hope it helped!!

  • @roosadketsidonarmsad Thanks!!!

  • Super talentosa!

  • @divahoney2001 gracias!!!

  • @anaarthur81

you were alot of help, and should of won first place.....and are you a real makeup artist?

  • What kind of glue did you use in the beginning? Or what's the brand and where can you find it ?

  • @danilee73 I used eyelash glue, this one is Duo eyelash adhesive but you can use any eyelash glue you have in hand. I got mine in a cosmetic store here in Argentina, but this is an International brand so I'm sure you can find it where you live.

  • You should sell these..I would so buy ^.^..your really good at it. :D

  • @nekocatgirl LOL, thank you! I'll think about it!!

  • I'm going to try this tonight

  • @831adri great!!! let me know what you think!!

  • I went to put mine on and they just fell off. They weren't curved at the top...! How did you do yours?!

  • AWESOME! I'm totally going to try this!

  • @mrsrocknrachel That's great!! Thanks for commenting!!!

  • Thanks for showing this I think I'm going to use my own human hair to make me some!

  • @pooh2b Yeah that would be great as well! Glad you found it useful! :)

  • BRILLIANT!

  • @blondeybaby23 Thanks!

  • I LOVE YOU!, I have to like have BIG lashes for my doll look for halloween and they didnt sell any here but now I know how to make them myself! I even save a lot of money :D

  • @sweetypiexx17xx I know I did this because I wanted big lashes and couldn't find any. So glad you found this useful.

  • this is amazing!!!!! that other glue that you used besides the eyelash glue, what kind of glue is that? I love this video!!!! you are extremely talented :) voy a tratar de hacer mis propias pesta~as a ver q pasa. saludos desde Puerto Rico

  • @mariel8193 Hola, es un pegamento llamado coqui, pero te recomiendo mejor que no lo uses, funciona mejor sin ese pegamento, solo con el pegamento de pestañas queda mejor.

  • ()_().... OMG... this is amazing!!!! and with Halloween right around the corner this is going to be great!!!!!

  • @MsBubblegumkitty Thank you! I'm so glad it will work for you!

  • This is absolutely genius!!!! Could you please tell me how long they last? Thanks

  • @missamelia24 thanks!! I still have mine from that day, the only thing is that I have to re-curl them before every use since the hair I used for it it`s completly flat. I think that if you use that product to curl your hair permanently it will stay curled for ever. But I haven`t tried that since I don`t mind curling them for every use. If you clean them afterwards I know they will last a long time. Thanks for commenting!

  • i think u r the 1st person making real eyelashes!!

  • @Rainbow5010 thank you! I`m glad you enyoyed the video!! :D

  • @anaarthur81 woo goot a commeenntt from u.

  • @Rainbow5010 LOL, I always try to reply, thanks for commenting!! xoxo

  • @anaarthur81 Yeahhh and another thxxxxx LOL xxx

  • Why doesn't this have millions of views???

  • @hXctney LOL, I don`t know, It`s weird since I think this is the only video on YT for making your own eyelashes.

  • @anaarthur81 It is, the other ones are all jokes about making them out of paper or making feather lashes which are cool but not the same.

  • When i was trying to curl it, it burned lol -.-

  • @MsPinkEmoPrincess Hi! maybe that's because the hairs were synthetic and not natural hair. Or the hair curler was too hot. If you try it again post a video response or upload pics on the Facebook fan page Ana Arthur Make-up Artist. Take care and have a lovely weekend!!

  • Nice!

  • @MsPinkEmoPrincess Thanks!!!!

  • Very Creative!

  • Loved the video, but i wanted to know where you got the latex stuff and what it is called,, i got the other stuff, but i dont know what the latex is called and where you got it.. PLEASE WRITE BACK

  • @cainlambert the latex is actually eyelash glue, I used DUO eyelash adhesive, you can use any eyelash glue you normally use. I know MAC sells DUO but they sell it super expensive, so look around in other makeup stores where you can find it. Hope it helps, let me know if you have any more questions. :)

  • hahahahahahahahahah

  • LOVE!!!!! Please make more videos like this.... i love it and i really wanna make some that match my red/ auburn color hair!!! THANKS ANA!!!

  • @ApricotArtLover Thanks for commenting!! I might do another one of these I just need to find the time. You know you can do this with your own hair if you want a perfect match. I know you would have to get a haircut but you don`t have to cut much. Glad you liked it!

  • @anaarthur81 Oh great idea, you are so clever! Next time i get a hair cut im saving that shit for sure :D

  • @ApricotArtLover great! glad I helped!! xoxo

  • This is amazing! Thank you for sharing - SO creative and inspiring. This is JUST what i wanted to find on here xox

  • @unnalovesaary Thank you so much!!! I´m so glad you liked this!!! Thanks for commenting!!

  • can i just use super glue for the beginning to?

  • @sparkyskooter911 I think that if you do they will be too hard, but it doesn`t hurt to try :)

  • Can I use nail glue to hold the hairs together instead of super glue? Any suggests for making them look more real? Thank you so much!!!!

  • @ImBabyBunny Yes, i think you can! to make them more real just cut the hairs shorter, although it will be harder to curl, except if you have a smaller curling iron.

  • This is the FIRST time I ever seen someone make lashes from scratch! Wow, anything is possible..I think this would turn into a huge disaster 4 me though..lol.. Thnx 4 sharing..your Amazing..

  • @nkr1695 I`m glad you liked it!!! Yeah I haven`t seen anyone do them here on youtube, they do mostly with feathers. Thank you for commenting. I might be doing a part 2. But to create lashes with unconvencional materials, just to give it a kick, hope you like that one. It will be done in a few weeks.

  • i LOVE YOU like 5 minutes ago i was trying to do this using weave and gluing it to a pair of lashes but it just looked really hard and gross this will help so much!

  • @uhthisme I´m so glad you liked it!!! Thanks for commenting! Let me know how it went! Take care!

  • @uhthisme

Just wanted to say that i use hair ffrom weave and it just takes practice, you have to build up your skill, Youll get better dont give up Using weave i feel looks so much more natural and its lighter on the eyes.

    Nikki

  • OMG!!!! this is amazing!!! you are amazing!!!! :D

  • @coverstream Thank you so much!!! I´m so glad you liked it!!!

  • what if you want to make your eyelashes natural looking instead of a crazy!!! loooking lashes????? Maybe you can do a video on that?

  • @piggypop9 I think you can do the same procedure but cut them shorter, what I don´t know if the hot curler will curl them, since mine is a little bit big, but I will have your request into consideration I will try it out first and if it works I will do a tutorial, thanks for the suggestion and I´m glad you liked the video!!!

  • @anaarthur81 can you tell me if it didnt work or not just so i wont have to go buy the materials!

  • @piggypop9 ok, as soon as I do it I´ll tell you.

  • @Vintageriot Thank you so much for commenting! i really appreciate it! Sorry for the late response. Take care! xoxo

  • This is awesome!!!!! *-*

I'm soooooo going to do that :)

    Thanks for the tutorial Ana^^

    Juliana

  • @Looksandmake Thank you! I´m so glad you liked it! Tell me all about it when you do them! Take care!

  • I visit this video every so often & I'm still amazed @ ur creativity...You rock!

  • @perkytitts Thank you so much! I´m so glad you like it! Feel free to check out my other videos, they are mostly about dramatic makeup but I´m sure you will enjoy them. Thanks for commenting and sorry for the late reply.

  • Is it possible to make other forms of eyelashes with this technique? Like natural or less dramatic ones?

  • @ValyHxM Yes you can, you can do any sorts of eyelashes, dramatic and natural. Thanks for commenting!

  • Amazing video, thx for sharing! I definitely subscribed!

  • @perkytitts Thank you so much! Sorry for the late reply! I appreciate the sub!!

  • Everyone should know that you need to be using COSMETIC GRADE sequins and glitter or you can seriously damage your eye!

  • @mikebmakeup If they are glued to the fake eyelash there is no problem ´cause it won´t fall. But yes, if you have cosmetic glitter it´s better. Thanks for commenting!

  • none on my powder brushes are black, :( awesome video btw

  • @sweetbusassy Hi! Sorry for the late response, if they are dark brown it would work as well, and if they are white you could buy colored hair spray and make them black, green, blue what ever, great for dramatic eyelashes. Thanks for commenting!

  • Do you have to have a certain powder brush?

  • @threadlessfan Hi! Sorry for the late reply. It has to be a natural hair brush not a synthetic brush because when you use the curling iron the heat will destroy them. Hope it helps, if you have any questions please message me. Thanks! xoxo

  • okay, so where is the 1st cut made? can anybody tell me? i'm confused if it's on the top or the bottom of where the glue is put originally

  • @TheNovaClytie Hi! Sorry for the late reply. You cut where you put the glue so you can even things out, then you start to shape the eyelashes and cut them where you want to. If you have any questions please message me. Take care!

  • You are such an creative person! Those lashes you made, are better than anyone you can buy, because they are so special!!! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!!!!

  • @puppetmasterin Thank you!! I´m so glad you liked it!!!

  • Wooowww :O amazing!!! im going to try my ones now!! thank you SO much :*

  • @XRhia08X you should, they tourn out amazing!!!

  • THIS IS SOOOOO COOL ! I've always wanted to have big dramatic fancy lashes that I made ! Thank you so much !

  • @makeupmaniacs096 I´m so glad you liked it!! Plus it´s super easy!! and after you know the basic steps the posibilities are endles!!! using feathers, rhinestones, glitter, anything! I would love to see your creativity! Thanks for commenting! Take care!

  • what fiber is that brush u used synthetic will burn wouldnt it i would prob have to get a new brush

  • @chynaeyez69 Hi, yes it should be natural fibers not synthetic ´cause they will burn with the hot iron. You should try it out, it´s easy and fun! Take care!

  • i love thatwill def try

  • - This Wus Great . Now Im Gona Go Try & Make My Own ! lOl

  • @EyeCandyPurple YAY! I´m glad you liked it! Sorry for the late reply, did you make some already?

  • This is so kind of you to share!

  • @Fancylooks Glad you liked it! Thanks for commenting!

  • Awesome! Thank you sooo much for this tutorial. The only problem is, I don't have a curling iron and I was wondering if the is any other way I could curl it?

  • @MegaBlarblar Thank you!! I haven´t tried this, but it may work. I know for sure that if you use synthetic brush "hairs" it will, but wilh natural hair I guess it might work as well. Use an old pen, get all the pieces out roll the lashes over the pen and with bobby pins hold them. Boil water and throw the pen in for 30 secons, tourn off the water and keep them inside until the water starts to come cold. Blow dry them, put a lot of hair spray and then remove from the pen. Hope it works!

  • @anaarthur81 cool! Thx, I've got another problem now. I can't fins the seperate tubes of eyelash glue. I've tried target, Priceline and several chemists and I still can't find any. Most of them are ready on the eyelash itself. Is there any way that I could use another type of glue that works the same way? Perhaps PVC glue?

  • @MegaBlarblar Ok I don´t know pvc glue but try anything that won´t melt when you throw it in the hot water. you could do a small test with a few hairs and the glue you have in your house or that you can buy and see if it works. You should go to a department store that sell makeup, they must have eyelash glue. I know mac sells them on their stores and website but I think they sell them too expensive. Hope you can find it!!

  • Cool! I'm gonna try!!

  • These Are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @LivingDeadRose Thank you! Glad you liked it!!!

  • @joannadelilah LOL!!!! Thank you so much dear!!!

  • This is a great idea! I guess you could make them shorter, so less dramatic...but could you make the lashes more sparse? The hair would have a harder time sticking together with the glue then, right?

  • @uberfriponne Yes you can make them shorter, you can pretty much make anything you want, you only need patience and you will have awsome eyelashes! No, you can make them more sparse you just have to try and then trim them.
