What will getting rid of one person accomplish? DioGuardi even says in these videos that the system is corrupt. Start at the top and work down! Heads should roll, but they should roll because they don't fit within a revised system. DioGuardi's almost there.
Love the "Audacity of Action." I'm gonna have to use that, lol.
It's got to start somewhere. There are definitely people responsible for this and they deserve a lot worse than they got. Obama doesn't realize that his hope platform ran out of gas a while ago. This "Audacity of Action" is good stuff.
Something like starting "at the top" won't do any good. It would only weaken our already porous national defenses if Obama let everybody remain in charge while restructuring then the system would only get weaker.
Oh, wait. Obama did keep everybody in charge. Like DioGuardi said, somebody has to be accountable.
Not sure what you are getting at with "they should roll because they don't fit within a revised system" I would think heads should roll because they failed to protect Americans, which is job One. Their pitiful excuse is that protection of Americans is not in their job description.
Joe DioGuardi obviously recorded this before Obama's report. I agree that someone's head should have rolled. It's an outrage that the typical bureaucratic excuse was used-- if everyone's responsible, then no one's responsible.
Replacing a top person is at the least symbolic, demonstrating a response to the problem. At best, a personnel replacement SOLVES the problem.

Audacity of action-- looks like you have this in spades, Joe. Now I know where Kara gets it from.

We want audacity of action toward terrorists, not condescension toward Americans.

I'd rather have audacity of action than audacity of hope, any day! Go get 'em, Joe DioGuardi.

LOVE that expression: "the audacity of action"! Did you originate that?
