How does abolishing the drinking age free up jail cells? Who goes to jail for underage drinking? And if so, who spends more than 1 night in a holding cell? The gov't makes money off underage drinking via the courts.
Heh, see i'm a pretty conservative guy but I just don't have those kinda sentiments against him. I think he's aspiring to be an FDR type and is still a capitalist. He's just gonna spend too much money. There's always this doom and gloom kinda mentality towards the president when pple don't like him but at the end of the day, how large of an impact on your life is he going to have? I am a far right conservative and agree with the 9th Circut court decision. The governent has no buisness in banning games and restricting games, let the parents handle it, Keep the governemnt out of it.
Under your logic it's not the government's role to establish a drinking age or make drugs illegal. There's a difference between government spending/activity, and the rule of law.
Here in Illinois when I go to pickup 360 games rated M I always get carded. I don't even get carded to buy cigarettes. I think it's good that 13 year olds can't take their parents money and buy GTA4 or Gears of War. Ya kno?
Yes, I agree its the not governemnts role to estalbiish a drinking age, or make drugs illegal. Only reason a drinking age is estalbished in each state, is because federal highway money wont be given to any state that does not have it @ 21. (As you can tell I am a far right libertarian)
