You must be referring to The Ratpack's cover version which I think came out sometime in the 90s. It was certainly a change of pace from this version!

Ahh those wonderful days of the early 80s. I had this on a 'roots' 12" in Birmingham. Those sweet lovers rock tunes still sund so good. Where did all the sweet soul reggae music go? I loved the dub version on the 12" B Side too
