I love him because he is a baritone martin at its best, but he is not whimpy, which is how most people think of "baryton-martin". It's just a big beefy high voice. Virile, and romantic with endless expression. Thanks Russell, and keep singing!!

@Royalbrettania Baryton-Martin is a category of Baritone voice. Traditionally, it is a baritone that can reach almost as high as a tenor, but has the rich tessitura of a baritone, which tenor's truly lack. Kind of like a high baritone, essentially. For baritone's it means that we have to sing up in the higher register (F4 to Bb4) a bit more.

Ah yes, Russell!, I am also working with him now, his uncle, aunt and their inlaws and I are singing the anvil chorus currently - in the fields planting organic mushrooms while taking private voice lessons to improve my vibrato. Bravo Mr. Braun!!!

Russell is phenomenal.

I'm currently working on a show with his two sons and his wife(Godspell) where I am playing Jesus. He has taken me for some private voice lessons to work on character and voice for the show. He's RIDICULOUS.
