  • I am French producer of hiphop I love ricky since I listen to children, this music is beautiful!! how not to love?? ricky skaggs dan seals and george straits ^^

  • awsome song

  • The music out of nashville now is not country anymore, I dont know what the hell it is, It stopped being country years ago

  • He's so wonderful. I just wish he would have made a few newer songs. He could have set a whole new standard for the crap we call country nowadays.

  • @strawbry3shortcake Ricky is still making music. He and his band Kentucky Thunder have been popular in Bluegrass music for a number of years now. Still, you are absolutely right- what the radio stations call country today is not country.

  • YEE HAW, THEY DON'T COME WITH MORE TALENT THAN COUNTRYBOY RICKY. I LOVE HIM. COUNTRY AND FARMBOYS ARE NUMBER ONE ALWAYS.

  • Sounds like "Live in London"....u cant get better musicians n tighter harmony than this...todays "country" music cant touch this...

  • Ricky Skaggs is the King of Bluegrass. Period.

  • What a shame--this was during the period during which he was contractually obligated NOT to play or record Bluegrass--the price of being a Country Music Star!! Do you think that would be tolerated today? I pray not! Maybe we'd still have his buddy Keith Whitley if Country Music in the 70s and 80s had not been so narrow minded.

  • after many years of listening to him, im finally gonna be seeing him live in concert on november 19th! i couldn't possibly be more excited.

  • Hiiiyyyeeee!!! Come see, ma sha!!! Ca C'est Bon!!!

  • hi there,

my story is this, in 1997, I bought a cd of ricky skaggs for less than a dollar. Noone in here* enjoys much of country music. It is my most valuable possession.

here stands for North Africa... an altogether different place with a different type of music...lol

    I am an exception, lol

  • magicman220 - YEAH! CLOG ON!!!

  • Something to dream about...

  • Great song to clog to!

  • proud to be a cajun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'M A "BAYOU KID"! j'adore ce genre de country "frenchie"....

  • Right, BYE-YOU for bayou, not BYE-YO. BYE-YO is the countrified version (Thanks, Hank Williams Sr.!). But it's a great song by a great singer-song writer-musician, Ricky Skaggs! And that's from the Cajun's mouth to your ears!

  • well phonetically Bye-yo won out because of the rhyme scheme.

  • They say Bye-yo in Houston. I canoed down Buffalo Bayou and Armand's Bayou in the 70's....

  • Ricky Skaggs is one of the best country music stars out there today I've grown up listening to his music and I tell ya I love his music and always well thanks for the great music ricky!

  • @johnmaruk807 Got that right.

  • oh yes have to love ricky

  • Cajuns say by-u not by-o.Cajun music and bluegrass do have a lot in common, mainly the fiddle.

  • Wilma you're right but when you consider phonetics...it just seems to make sense

  • Bluegrass rocks....and so does Skaggs.

  • damn right

  • @flashcat132 DITTO !!!

  • My favorite Ricky Skaggs song; five stars!! AAIEEE!

  • One of my favorite songs. From Barcelona, Catalonia, Europe.

  • Best ever from Ricky......Awesome!!

  • When this song was on the radio pretty regular i was around 3 to 5 yrs old. When it would play on the radio my mom said i would come and find her and want to dance with her. hahaha We have a laugh about it now and again. Thanks for posting this song it brings back alot of memories.

  • I grew up listening to Ricky as a child too!!! My grandfather would play his tapes. I would listen to them over and over until they wore out! And now my this is my son's favorite song!! He's only 2 but loves to dance and sing along too!!

  • Love this!!!!

Thanks for letting me hear it!

  • It makes me want to dance!

  • 20 years ago, first time I heard this song from a piracy cassete. I love this song so much ... Now I'm a man close to 40, thank God finally I can find it again and watch in from Internet. Thank you.

  • Both my parents were as country as the days are long. I've got myself some college education now, and I've somewhat integrated into today's world but, only enough to get by. I know my roots, and I thank God for them. Music sure does have power!

  • Great song! Ricky is great!
