Life abroad is NOT as easy as they say it is. It may be much more easier now, but back then when the movement was going on, it was literally hell. The only reason why these new immigrants are doing well is because the past immigrants have paved the road for these people. Our community here is much larger than ever before. Even then, the past immigrants struggled MUCH MORE than the current ones are. There was no one to rely on except themselves.
Blame lies on Bollywood movies which brainwash people back in India by showing Indians in UK as having buckinghampalace as their houses. Then blame the greedy fmilies of these poor guys who pressurie them into coming to uk just coz the next door neighbour's sons r in uk.
the main problem is the reservation system in good education institute,,,that's why the problem most people and young blood are moving aboard on study basis

The root cause is corrupt Indian government. Agriculture was something which made punjabis proud but same agriculture became enemy. Reason- Land was limited but family went on expanding which means land got divided and very small was left for agriculture. This created huge problem coz people in middle class and lower class were no or less educated. Now, few of them managed to go to London, canada due to relaxed immigration checkups or asylums. More such people meant problem only.
No work here in Canada too...even part time job...Money from India will help you, like it helped me. Come Canada if you have enough money back home to spend on your daily needs !!
