i too had a dream in the late 80s where i saw the golden gate bridge violently heaving up & down like a giant snake and the waves of the sea were also heaving up and down...i was floating on those waves as i watched the bridge almost snapping from the force.
my heart was just about bursting through my chest, and then suddenly i found myself on the foreshore of some beach from where i could see a HUGE wave gathering momentum in the distance and heading towards the beach i was on!

I will say this, the Chinese and the Russians will pay a VERY heavy price. Don't forget, we have the most sophisticated & advanced NUCLEAR subs out there. They're deathly QUIET (diesels are noisy as heck, relatively) & almost impossible to track. And they're able to work independently. When the C & R's strike us, the US CAN and WILL strike back. Actually, diesel engines are more quiet. Nuclear is more popular because they can stay at sea easily for 6 month tours, and, I believe, can stay at sea for up to three years.
The Chinese diesels can easily make it to North America, and return to China.
