Actually, I thought Crane could easily be used as Barker in flashbacks. Hairstyle and even the clothing are almost identical. I always wondered why no one had but the two together... and at last I found one. I don't know that I think C Ricci looks like Lucy but it's close enough.

I've seen parts of Sleepy Hollow, but not Sweeny Todd, but I did see screenshots of both movies, and I actually thought that Katrina and Johanna were played by the same actress at first - so yes, I did notice the similarity. Clips, I honestly couldn't tell you where they're from. I went through a million sites in order to find a copy of the movie a week after it was out in theatres. The copy I found was the one used at the premier.

yh every one lovs no matter who they are nd a mindless killer w/ no luv is jst nt a story. tim burton always focuses on the softer side of a person nd then focuses on the evilness of thm. tho i never really saw sweeney as evil...jst tragic. i luvd him in this nd the relationship between him, mrs lovette nd lucy. ichabod luvd katrina as well so tht cn always relate to everyone.

Yeah for sure. Tim definately has a talent for exploring the depths of the human condition. I think Sweeney was more tragic than evil, but still evil. However, Mrs. Lovett was much worse since she manipulated him. But yeah, I loved all their relationships as well. I felt bad for Mrs. Lovett actually, since she could never compete with Lucy.

nice i also made this connection after watching sleepy hollow, to me though, katrina was lucy,and everything connected, his inventiveness in SH helped him make the chair in ST, and at the end of SH they ended up in london hence the start of his barber career, and his fight with the law in SH also contributed to his revenge in ST
