Is there any chance that you have the skit "The Doctors", and if so, could you please post it? I used to have Hanging In There and Losing Their Heads (their first 2 albums) on LP many years back, and I can't find that skit anywhere. It's a short skit, but so hilarious! "Not as dead as this cigarette... "
THis stuff is the BEST....my best friend and I have this one and a couple of others committed almost totally to memory. I think this was probably their most famous bit...this OR Ajax Liquor Store. My wife's fav. is Sir Basil.
@talon0sage my parents raised us on hudson and landry. my dad listened to them non-stop. i say all kinds of lines to them all the time. this has to be my favorite and also love impossible dream. "i heard frank sinatra can't swim".
I used to listen to these guys on KGBS in the mornings very funny. Kinda ripped Jonnathan Winters off though. Of course everyone used to rip off Winters, Even Johnny Carson.
Wow, I thought I was the only one around who remembers these guys! "The Prospectors" was their best bit ever! The "Hippy and The Redneck" is good too. "Ajax Liquor Store" got a lot of airplay here in L.A. back in the seventies.
Too bad about these guys though, I told them not to tease Floyd when he was eatin'!
