I hear what everyone is saying re: an uptempo gospel rave up, and while it is always nice to hear it performed that way, the reason A.B.B. do it as a dirge is that they played it in mourning at Duane Allman's funeral in 1972. Every time they do it, it is a call back to that part of their collective history.

I was also at this concert and it rocked the house ! Natalie Cole sang the hell out of the Sam Cooke song, "A change is gonna come"..Then add Crosby, Nash and Lesh to the line-up - Rock Royalty !!!
