I.E Humans and apes diverged millions of years ago down the evolutionary tree. no i mean their data. for example i was watching one when they compared the strenght of men ang gorillas. they said a gorilla is 8 times stronger than an average man. then they said that strongest man can lift about 550 lbs over their head. so a gorilla can lift over 4500 lbs. average man can lift what 130-150 lbs over their head? that times 8 is not over 4500lbs. their statistics are incorrect. can u imagine a gorilla lifting a small SUV over their head?

Oh, wait I think we are confusing the Mantis Shrimp with the Pistol Shrimp. ShadowedKnight's description could be used for either animal. The Mantis Shrimp actually strikes it's prey. The Pistol Shrimp, however, creates a cavitation bubble by snapping it's claw shut at high speed. It can kill at a distance.

Both animals use intense kinetic energy to hunt prey, but one's close-quarters and the other is projectile based.
