  • Yea, perhaps you need to watch some Cardinals football in regards to how effective the fade route can be. When you have a guy like Fitz it sure does work well.

  • Forsett was a fluke. Cards weren't prepared for him. They eventually figured him out and took control.

  • The fade works when you have Larry Fitzgerald

  • The fade route was a staple of the Seattle offense in the redzone back when Hasselbeck had the arm to throw it and D-Jack was beating DBs off the snap. One of his famous drops came against champ bailey in denver he beat Champ by 3 steps on the fade and hasselbeck zipped it in there only to watch D-jack pop it out with his knees. Just because we can't utilize it very well doesn't mean there are not cases where it has a high probability of working.
