Brilliant. Grace without the Airplane or Starship and she is still compelling. Mysterious and mesmerizing far before the wonderful "witch" Stevie Nicks came along. Such a great album by one of rock's goddesses -- who survived. Grace had such a powerful slick and attention getting vocal style. She deserved more good material later in life -- I'm still waiting.

WOW..I'm a huge fan of Grace's for years..and Rowanroad--I was at hat radio station's building shopping at the Saks Fifth Ave--WiOQ-102 FM was there too-that did a long interview-she was selling this album"Dreams" 1st solo in years...And she was walking out the doors into her black limo and she was really gorgeous!!! Her voice on this album was clear-strong and a powerhouse.Saw her 3 more times after that LIVE..in Philadelphia

I was really lucky to discover Grace Slick as a 12-year-old on a trip to the US in 1980. I was given this album, on vinyl of course, by friends at a radio station in Philadelphia. It is still one of my all-time favourites 30 years on. Such an awesome voice.

The song was on a 'solo' album. Also called Dreams as I recall, that Grace released in 1980 (the days of vinyl records).

The timing was unfortunate: it came out on vinyl just before the industry jumped to CD. Since it was new, it didn't get re-issued, except for in Hong Kong.

I've seen CD copies on ebay for as much as $150, but you can still find the import sometimes.

Grace made this right out of re-hab, and a lot of the lyrics are pretty dark. But this isn't even the best cut, which was 'Seasons'. Several other good songs, worth tracking down.
