Thank you Squarebeaulieu, now I realize what I was doing wrong. I forgot to press the "Emitter" button. No wonder my character disappeared every time I used the hair feature.

BTW the "Add" button that's a good tip. Merci.

Only suggestion for your next tutorial, can you zoom in so we can see the names of the buttons. Merci beaucoup.
