We were so lucky we actually came out of that game with a win.the first 3 mins leading up to the goal was brilliant but then the game just went pear shaped.there was no great working for the ball and the defence was just awful.
they were ok first half. 2nd half wasnt to good. i do think they played well defensively. vermaelan , koscielny , gibbs , sagna , szczesny , frimpong played well. alex song kept going for the hard chip passes when there was simple passes free. chamakh they could get some money for. they could get aly cissokho , chris samba , gary cahill. and gourcuff or honda would be a good midfield and a non injury prone striker like Benzema , and they should get adebayor back. + Sagna for Captain.

Yes its a wake call, but we got the result, RVP, Nasri and even wilshere maybe back for 2nd leg. Arshavin should have played instead of chamakh.

I think Jenkinson has potential, remember he is only young and Djourou showed last season that he is capable of playing really well. I like Gibbs, I like frimpong (fellow ghana man!) and I dont think Ramsey has to be particulalrly fast, Xaviu is not fast but his vision awarness and control of the midfield is what makes him great.
