  • After the 'nifty' Qh2 move, what about Nf3, forking rook/queen and protecting the Bh4?

  • @ex0duzz according to my "analytical assistant" Nf3 ,Rdxg6 , Nxh2 , Rg7 , Qxg7 , Rxg7# or Nf3 , Rdxg6 , Nxg1 , Rxh6 , Qxh6 (anything less is mate) Nxh6 , Nf3 , Qd6 , with Q+P v 2R (everything else being equal) and a 2.46 advantage for white at depth 13 . So in short Nf3 is refuted either with mate or the loss of the black queen and lost position .

  • Excellent work by Mr. Bronstein.

  • The Richter Rauzer attack theoretically prevents the dragon and Boleslavski variation by threatening to double blacks KB Pawn with Bg5xf6. , something computers don't seem to much mind these days.

  • That was explained well. Think I just found out why sister likes to wake up and drink tea while watching YouTube, lost a Najdorf this morning to her. lol

  • Yes, very enjoyable

  • Yea, after seing Rybka being crushed by houdini he switched :)

  • kc switchd to houdinie

  • KC, I watch lots of game-type videos(other strategy games). Once in a while, the channel owners will accept games played by normal players like us(some of your less skilled viewers) and will go through them with us on YT and show us how this or that could have been done differently. I say all that to ask::: Would this be something you might consider? If some of us lesser skilled players sent you move-lists and you could pick one of your choice and show us things about them?

  • @MrPeak111 The reason I ask this is I think it could be helpful to many of us to see evaluations of positions that many times we find ourselves in. I am no amazing player and most times don't find myself in positions like in this video for example(for instance after many moves in this vid you mentioned it had beed trodden many times. i only speak for myself but i've never seen this position hehe). I just think it would be neat to see you offer input to more normal(for lower players) games.

  • @MrPeak111 Just a thought I've been thinking about. Sorry about the long posts. I'm not so great at being concise. Love your videos. Thanks. =)

  • @MrPeak111 Also, my own games moves lists wouldn't probably be candidate, as I'm not so amazing hehe. Just in case you wondered if I meant my own games, I don't hehe. ;)

  • @MrPeak111 Great idea I suggested that to him myself, great minds think alike. I have to say this after I have watched KC's games and analysis on here I play much stronger chess. :)

  • i honestly don't understand why someone would dislike this video. These are by far the most interesting and educational chess videos on youtube. This one in particular was quite good, too.

  • @TheBerkeleyBear Remember, though, that you often see one hundred+ likes and zero dislikes, which must be rare for any video poster.

Personally, from a purely analytical point of view I like Canstein best. From all other points, including many areas that are often times hard to marry with chess that make for entertaining viewing, I prefer Kingcrusher. I don't think there are many others who could do, and are doing, more to popularise the game.

A master level player, a grandmaster commentator.

  • its a great story , ive read of it somewhere , its great to see it played out well done good work :)

  • You are sounding a bit sick KC.. I hope this doesn't hamper the blitz videos.. hahaha.

  • Daily computer routine: check mail, check youtube for new KC vids

  • @Boeman91 me too - specially the 5min blitz
