The problem with PES09 was the horrible 90 degree turns of the players. Shocking. It was the first PES game that I played less than 4 months. Visually it was good but it just didn't feel right to play. Some people liked PES10 but I thought it was worse than PES08/09 in some areas. PES2011 seems like a step in the right direction (finally) so hopefully it will be good.

Got to be Honest I never liked PES before, I always played FIFA. So one day I decided to buy it PES 7 that is, I played it for aweek, I went back to play FIFA, it felst like i was playing 4 year old games, PES seemed more realistic after certain mount of time the point is you have to get used to it. Sometimes it seems like you were in real game, it gets tough to score, unliike FIFA that you can Bang 14-0 on ur opponenet.I just got PES 2009 and I'm speechless. Once you go PES you are going back!

i played pes 6 but once the series went downhill and fifa became better there was no point going back. so i didnt. pes is meant to be more realistic than fifa but now its not- the pace is out of whack, the animations are clunky, the graphics are horrible and it doesnt flow as well as fifa when it used to before. disappointed. konami is going down and thats unfortunate for such a good series like pes.

PES has always been the better game. If you like Fifa more thats fine, but ask around, you will find that PES sells more and is much more liked worldwide. The only argument I ever hear from Fifa fans saying its a better game is because they have more real player names, and EA knows this is their only selling point, but I for one will gladly take better gameplay over little things like names.

PES 2009 will make history. I played a demo just minute ago, I am very satisfied. Even PES 2008 was terrible optimized, on the recommended PC PES 2008 was terrible laggy, that's why I didn't play it. But as I see PES 2009 will be my top favourite PC game. Football rules on PC. Just look FIFA 09. FIFA09 has pretty high system requirements (when you compare sys req with FIFA08) but nothing is really new in game play and even in graphic. EA is releasing games like food. This is crap.
