  • Anyone looking to grow their Youtube Channel maybe I can help

  • really, that's VERY VERY slow 4 a 8.3 engine, the turbocharged 3.8 from nissan is way better...

  • something is very wrong.. dodge them selves says this will do 195 mph.. and jeremy clarkson aswell

  • option auto do this. they some time never push hard some cars dont know why and everybody here think these cars are slow but no this cars goes a lot faster than this

  • american people can't make cars they only know who to ride a bull or horse!

  • The best thing american did is muscal cars....shit it is really a nice car but damn it is fucking slow...i'm disappointed :-(

  • there are many european supercars that have not been in nurburgind. btw, have you seen the ferrari 599 fxx in nurburgrind?? lap time 6:58.. and let's talk about the ferrari enzo fxx... lol......no chance.... lets talk about pagani zonda R... lets talk about koenigsegg ccx-r... the lambo sv, the macerati mc12 corsa... in my opinion viper sucks, but i would buy the corvette zr1...one of the best and good looking supercars..

  • and he was not pressing gas so much u can see it allready.

  • for sure Thats why shelby gt is fast as lamborgini.. And Mustang gt is faster than m3. Viper is not so fast because its made like that. But Corvete mustang shelby pwns many german cars and cost 60 percent less.

  • When is Dodge Viper SRT10 acceleration coming?

  • omg so slow :((((

  • fat horses :D

  • It´s funny that i allways hear europeans saying american cars are not efficient and slow, but i don´t see Ferraris, Porsches, Aston Martins or Lamborghinis beating the "7:19 Corvette ZR-1" and the "7:22 Viper ACR" times at Nurburgring!!!

  • @pauloararaquara actually.... the Porsche 911 GT2 RS has a 7:18 lap time at Nurburgring.

  • @tommyisrad131131 Yes, indeed "the new 2011 Porsche GT2 RS" got (the only one to get) 3 years after, beat the times of the 2008 Viper and the 2008 Corvette, but anyway, no one can come here to say that American cars are slow and inefficient!

  • Comment removed

  • @pauloararaquara both ZR1 and ACR were made in 2009. Ferrari Enzo and Pagani Zonda F Clubsport from 2008 were both faster than ZR1 and ACR. But i'd take the ZR1 out of these, just for the amazing performance in relation to its price. But honestly, Americans cars that are fast lack in other aspects.

  • @gunigugu1991 Sorry man, but you are wrong!!! Ferrari Enzo did the Nurburgring Lap in 7:25 and Pagani Zonda F Clubsport did in 7:27, they aren´t faster than Corvette ZR1 (7:19) and Viper ACR (7:22)!!! But i agree with you when you said about the amazing Corvette´s performance in relation to its price!

  • @pauloararaquara My bad... you're right about the data

  • Omg, is it a diesel? :D

  • Vipers are rather raw and uncivilized cars, but that doesn't make them no good. Try a Corvette...that'll knock just about everything you Europeans make and for way less too. Unlike European sports cars, the Corvette is low maintenance and relatively good on gas (Base C6 can get 16 city/26 mpg highway and it's 430 hp). I like Euro cars, don't get me wrong but the Corvette is a value/performance ratio no one can touch. Make it a Lingenfelter and now you're really talking top tier performance.

  • @Shintsu2 wrong, the best ratio in value/performance got the new skyline... srsly euro cars r rly good but 2 expensive... and american style muscle cars r a style for their own. they r only based on their brutal engine power by high engine displacement. u cant compare these 2 different styles with eachother. and a viper got far more style than the newer corvettes... in my opinion the newer corvettes r 2 european styled.

  • the only cars that americans should be proud of are corvette zo6, zr1 and ford gt... the others suck.. even if the viper has 100hp more hp than every european supercar ( ferrari, lambo, koenigsegg, mercedes, pagani, porsche .....) it will be slower because its heavier, it has worse aerodynamic and a very very bad transmission... its simple... the v10 or the v12 engines dont make the difference.. check out the german supercars in option auto..

  • si ma perchè cambiate a 5000 giri infami??

  • v-tech technology? u serious?

  • For 8.3 V-tech technology engine that is too bad....Very low torque.

  • For 8.3 V-tech technology engine that is too bad....Very low torque.

  • 270kmh at 3000rpm - niicee

  • LOL my diesel Audi revs higher than that and has pretty much the same torque from 2.0 litre TDI

  • @velkoto1 there is a loot of difference between an EIGHT 8 Liter engine and a TWO 2 liter DIESEL....

  • @weetnietgeen yeah, the 8-liter engine is V10 petrol, and my diesel engine is 2-liter inline-4 :D

  • i just love option auto

  • what the americans do with a 8or 9 L engine....the europeans on japannese..can do with a 3 or 4 L engines;)

  • @officialTMNchannel Actually the mitsubishi evolution x is faster than this and has a 2.0liter engine . Imagine a 8.3 liter with V-tech techonoly and a twin turbo ..

  • @TheFranc934

u're wrong, is has one 8 liter W16, with 4 turbos

  • 8.3 litre piece of crap .... veyron only use a 8litre engine

  • @melvineo10 veyron has 6 more cylinders

  • @xxdarkheartsxx veyron goes 100mph faster

  • 8.3 litre piece of crap .... veyron only use a 8litre engin

  • kto polak łapka w górę

  • Its not about the speed in amercan muscle its about the roar of the engine and the raw power ;)

  • Very slow, American cars are not efficient, are light years ahead of Europeans.

  • @GSXGSI didnt you wanted to say "europeans are light years ahead of americans"??not being picky just asking.....

  • @GSXGSI ahead no, behind

  • @GSXGSI 08' dodge viper acr street legal, stock car, made 7.12 at nurburgring it's the 4th best time ever

    1 radical lm

    2 radical

    3gumper apollo 750hp

    4dodge viper ACR 600hp

  • american people can't make cars , 8.3 viper ??

German makes a perfectttttttttttt engine with that

  • @OzzymanNL european cars are better! ;)

  • @OzzymanNL You're right! The Viper ACR-X produces "only" 640 HP from a cast-iron naturally aspirated engine (no turbo) low-revs (6000 rpm) 2-valve per cylinder! The good ones are the Europeans Bentley 6.7 twin-turbo with stunning 460 HP, or even the "ultra modern" Bugatti Veyrons engines that requires an 8.0 L 16-cylinder 64-valve 4-turbos all-aluminum to produces 1001 HP! Any turbo Corvette or turbo Viper tuned in a home garage easily produces 1500 HP! Really, Americans can´t make cars!

  • @pauloararaquara Hahah, so right man, Just want to add, the Viper maybe doesnt have much horses but massive torque. Just american cars hurt so much at the gas station!

  • The size of the engine doesen't matter, but the technology does! The Mercedes 63 AMG series are still natural aspirated, just like this, but it feels faster than the Viper... It accelerates smoother, and you feel like your never going out of power. Its way more than putting oversize parts in a sportscar just like in the Viper . It sucks, like most american cars. You have a 8.3 litre V10 engine with only 2 valves/cylinder, overhead valve system, just like in the 80's. Simply rubbish!

  • @MadMonroe90

wait...so who holds a better lap time on the GERMAN ring?

Sure, the AMG's are more livable...by a long shot, have better tech

But few, VERY few cars are more fun than the Viper, or as fast

  • It's a muscle car. Dodge doesn't care about how fast it will go through the corners. And the thing that i hate most with this car is the gear ratios: It's got the first 5 gears sticked together and the 6th is way off. I mean, you max 5th gear @6000 rpm and you get to 150 mph very fast. But when you change to 6th it goes down to 3900 rpm. So, compared to it's rivals (Acura NSX, Chevrolet Corvette and Porsche 911) which one would you like to have?

  • it's aight... i'm sure sales don't lie! i dont remember honda, toyota or any euro asking for hand outs begging at the governments door step... and no i won't reply back to useless v8's are better kind of car people... TO NARROW MINDED.

a true car enthusiast appreciate all kind of auto regardless of make. and no i did not thumbs down this vid... sorry

  • even the older vipers did 306km/h

  • Comment removed

  • very slow for a huge engine... sad :((

  • This car isn't anything if u want to compare the power of many american monsters... And this is just a DODGE VIPER, the old edition. watch the ACR OR ACR-X.. they r pratically beasts! 0.0

  • bad driver.

  • please dude, viper!

    zr1 owns all american!

im sorry reaper6br but honda is better then american... and euro is better then american

  • @theredejvtec hahaahahahahaahhahaha

i will smoke any of ur honda or euro toys with my 300c srt8 and it is a very heavy car

Mustang GT 2011 has the same performance as the BMW M3 and costs half the price, so you will keep telling your mommy about your hondas and euros and we americans keep driving our (better than yours) cars

  • @Reaper6BR While the mustang handles like shit, looks like shit, and has the interiour of my grannys car? Yeah, 'course.

The euro and jdm imports are just better overall packages, and most of them will still be usable as an everyday car even with 300hp and more.

I doubt you can smile on the way to the gas station like we do.

  • @NoiteraD Stop talking shit you dumbass, the mustang gt 5.0 handles as good as a BMW M3 and gets better milleage, get your facts straight first, ignorant bastard

  • @Reaper6BR no, the M3 owns that mustang. and the M3 can do better milleage than that ford.

  • @thierr8391 /watch?v=uOwSPccbzl4 you can cry for ur mom as much as u want, but that wont change the fact that the mustang is FASTER THAN THE M3, cry

  • @NoiteraD watch?v=uOwSPccbzl4 and watch?v=muRC7WJHgmA

Yeah, handles like shit, shove it up on ur ass

  • It's a video with full throtlle?

  • lol , i think is slow , i was think dodge viper can go at 320 km/h without a problem...

  • 8 honda owners watched this video

  • Motorista muito louco! nota 10

  • Imagin if they let ferrari engineers make an engine as big as this.... if they get 570hp from a 4.5 liter V8 loool

  • revs only upto 5500 rpm ?! o.0

  • 2/10 SCORE SLOW SPEED FOR THIS ENG

  • Americans: there is no replacement for displacement

    Germans: there are turbochargers

    Americans: doh! :(

  • @boobmasteris

Japanese love huge turbos. Germans simply can make fantastic engine, with small turbo. German car means the better car :D

  • 600HP? or the previous gen (500HP) ?

  • You are right..I don't understand why this car has such a big engine...

  • @nikavteca People have built this motor up to 2000 rwhp hp on race gas and 1200 on pump on the stock bock still with cold AC and driving almost daily. Its potential.

  • i would get the rs4 rather than this

  • what an ugly sound

  • Nicht die Geschwindikeit ist entscheidend finde ich sondern der HAMMER SOUND ...

wie ein BÄR brüllt er :))

    Fett

  • 167 mph

  • could pressing f5 really save u from a commercial?

  • @praetorian2150 it just refreshes the page, which does get rid of the advertisement.

  • @praetorian2150 it is GOING to save you from a commercial ;-)

  • These Speedometers look soooooooo cheap!!! looks like some "China, Baotian, dongshueng crap! My moped from -92 has better looking gauges.....

  • @TurbozRS looks like a bike

  • slow for a 8.3 engine :|

correct me if i'm wrong :)

  • @MrCosmin94 yup, but this is american stuff.. they make 4.0 L with 200 hp :o

  • @MrCosmin94 8.0 liters with 400 hp

  • @lordoftheriffs79

The standard version.. DODGE VIPER is a:

8.4L and it got 500 HP but if u want a racing version.. (VERY NICE in my opinion and very very more powerful, very fast) u have to go on the ACR version (AMERICAN CLUB RACER) but... if u'd another more powerful version, so u have to choose the ACR-X version... and this 1.. gets 270 KM/H in VERY FEW minuts. the max speed is 315-320 KM/H i believe.

  • @cerrystyle this is the 90's model viper srt/10... the first generation with 8.0l

  • @lordoftheriffs79

Are you sure? how did u notice that???

  • @cerrystyle Standard 08 viper is 600 hp. ACR is a little more.

  • @lordoftheriffs79 5.0 liters with 230 hp :D they suck!!

  • @MrCosmin94 youre right

  • @MrCosmin94 Its a pushrod engine, so no thats actually pretty good. If it were an 8.3L DOHC engine, we would have a problem

  • @MrCosmin94 Veryyyy slow...

  • @MrCosmin94 Average for a stock american supercar**

  • @MrCosmin94

its a 9.4 engine you have to calculate the turbo ...

  • @MrCosmin94 u are wrong i have six of them at 200 tho a pice dumbass

  • @MrCosmin94 8.4 engine 600hp v10

  • @helloweikath U mean 500 :)

  • @helloweikath read the description ,,, it says the video took place in 2007 .... this mean 8.3 engine 500 hp

    the 8.4 600 hp released in 2008.

  • @MrCosmin94 the only problem is, you dont have ASR or ESP. so you cant do flat out ;)

  • @MrCosmin94 its american, what do u expect...

  • @PL3690

    it's american ! and then ?

    a Corvette ZR-1 ==> 330 km/h ;)

  • @mire101 oh right...youre like all other guys who pop up the ZR1 in every video...its american so its underpowered..dont forget the nice 2010 mustang with the poweful (lol) V6..If we only talk about NA cars, no car makes more than 85hp/ 1000cc out of your industry..ZO6, Viper, Camaro SS, Challenger SRT-8, Mustang 5.0, base Corvette and on and on......................

  • @PL3690

i'm not american, but the mustang V6 already existed so, what's the problem ? if you don't like the V6 you can buy the V8...

    You said: " it's american, it's underpowered "

    and i say " a corvette Z06 or ZR1 can beat european car as ferrari F430, Audi R8 . "

The only difference is the price !! 130 000 dollars for the R8 or 150/180 000 dollars for the ferrari

    Z06 ? 55 000 dollars

    Mustang GT500 540HP ? 50/55 000 dollars

  • @mire101 I am not american either. yeah they can beat the R8 and the F430 in a straight line and maybe in a track but the build quality, the style and the refinement of the german cars is no match for the american cars build quality. i mean come on, the ZR1 has 638hp but STILL doesnt have proper bucket seats. Price comparison is the most stupid thing among those cars. Have you ever wondered why the corvettes are nowhere in europe when in america u see european cars at this price range?

  • @PL3690

Ok, you are right, the build quality and the refinement are much better than the american cars but i'm talking about the engine, not of the comfort or the quality of assembly.

And for some years, the American builders evolved, indeed, it is moreover the reason for which Chevrolet and Ford want to import their mustang and camaro in France and in Europe;)

  • @mire101 i mentioned the build quality because you mentioned the price difference among R8's and ZR1's etc. Yeah, the engine is the strong point of american muscles, dont forget that they've been building V8's from like 1920. The entrance of Ford and Chevy muscle cars in Europe isn't necessarily connected with success in sales. The rule is simple. You get what you pay for. I dont expect a ZR1 to be as good as a Ferrari 599.. Different price, different cars;)

  • ZR-1 VS Ferrari 599... It would be a very beautiful duel :)

And a ZR1 or a 599, if one day, i can buy one to myself of these cars, i would be satisfied Lol

  • @mire101 in my country: Z06 = €100.000, audi R8 = €110.000

so i would always buy the R8

  • @thierr8391

    Great !

If everybody talk about their country...

    France: Z06 = 60 000E with (2 000km) ) and R8 = 95 000 euros (with 2000km)

    I would always buy the Z06 ;)

  • @PL3690

Haha, as if anyone cares about hp/litre.

Heres a news flash, most NA V8 engines from 90s and 2000 are barely any heavier than say S2000 engine. So your point is moot.

Also, theres a thing called torque, unless you like reving that lunchbox to 10k all the time...

  • @Grodinz yeah but torque= consuption (big cylinders) and revving= power on demand..if u want power u open the S2000 from 6-9k rpm's if u want low consumption u keep it low. The Viper under pressure will do 5mpg. You will never get to 20MPG.. I dont fully trust your weight argument because the shelby GT500 recently had an IRON (!!!) block. No WAY the viper's truck engine is lighter than the S2000's. It has 4+ times the displacement srsly what are u talking about??

  • @MrCosmin94 It's an American car. What did you expect?

  • @MrCosmin94 they dont go to redline for sum reason... the way there test driver drives makes alot of cars look slower than what they are

  • @MrCosmin94 U R correct, my Saab revs up faster than that ......

  • @MrCosmin94 No, man, you aren't wrong. It IS slow. =P

  • @MrCosmin94 You are wrong : )

  • @MrCosmin94 i think this is not full throttle!

  • @MrCosmin94 u are wrong becouse this "driver" dosnt step on the pedal

  • @MrCosmin94

A STOCK Gen 3 Viper will do 190+ with no mods and 200+ with a few bolt on upgrades like headers and exhaust. How is that "slow"? A Viper is just as fast as cars costing twice its price and with the market the way it is, you can pick up a supercharged or TT Viper for decent money and have 900 or 1K+ streetable horsepower at a fraction of the price of a Lambo or Ferrari. Plus it's a Viper, no ordinary car...

  • @ViperSRTnACR slow in acceleration, look at the interior and technology of viper and look at the interior and technology of a lambo, porsche ferrari...

  • @MrCosmin94

A Gen 2 Viper, GTS or RT does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, a Gen3 Viper will do it in 3.9 to 4.1 depending on driver and the Gen 4 Vipers with a good driver can hit that time in 3.4 sec. Thats not "slow" at all and like I said if you mod the car a bit you can get much more power out of it and still keep the driveability in tact. Yeah for 3 times the cost I would expect the Ferrari would have a nicer interior but they have interior upgrades for the Viper as well.

  • @ViperSRTnACR 3 times cheaper => 3 times more plastic, 3 times less carbon fiber ; 3 times more fake leather and more plastic, 3 times more alcantara and carbon interior (witch looks awesome in a 599 and 458); 7speed fastest gearbox ever, manual gearbox

  • @thierr8391

You can carbon out the interior and add loads of HP and all said and done you're still cheaper then a 458 or 599 if you want to base this discussion on price to power and looks ration. Look at what Dodge did with the GTS-R program in the mid 90's to early 2000's. The car ended up being banned because it was "too fast", you would think all the Euro's would take note and make their stuff faster rather then dumb down the American car because of its win streak in LeMans and GT classes.

  • @ViperSRTnACR SRT-10 costs 115k, ferrari 458 costs 195k. add a good gearbox, differential, carbon, hp, leather, alcantara and then more people will like the car.

GTS too fast? how about FXX and 599XX?

it was a good racer back in the 90s, but since then Corvette and Porsche have been dominating.

Lemans: Peugeot and Audi are unbeatable

FIA GT: doesn't compete, it's too weak. Maserati has been dominating for the last 5years

FIA GT3: doesn't compete because BMW, SLS and Ferrari are better

  • @thierr8391

No, I said the GTS-R was banned for what race officials deemed to have an unfair advantage with the 750hp V10 and carbon body. In 2001 the forced Team ORECA to replace the V10 with a restricted V8 or else it couldn't race. The ban is the only reason why other manufactures strated to "dominate" various race series including Corvette and Porsche. Think what you want but the fact remains that the V10 GTS-R had the most wins of its class up until its ban, even with the V8.

  • @ViperSRTnACR well, in FIA GT all cars are restricted to 600hp. it's funny because the stock lamborghini and maserati have more than the race-version. anyway, the viper got it's ass kicked in that series.

but it's true the viper was very good between 1998-2004.

i've seen it racing myself at 24h races in Spa-Francorchamps and Zolder. the viper just wasn't good enough to beat the porsche and corvette.

and i think dodge should make a new car, because it is almost 20y old

  • @thierr8391

That was my main statement coming into this discussion, due to restrictions and mandatory regulations on power to weight ratios the sum total killed the Viper racing scene off around 2004-05. Had it not been for that and provided they still had qualified drivers, no doubt the GTSR and Comp Coupe would still be at the top like it was without regulations. When on top all the other manufactures (like Porsche) did was whine and complain the Viper was too fast and needed to be regulated

  • @ViperSRTnACR but how come, when all the cars have the same weight and the same power, the viper isn'tas fast as aston martin, maserati, nissan, lamborghini and ford?

keep in mind, there are no restrictions on engine size

  • @thierr8391

Where are you getting this from? And I never said the Viper was perfect, no car is really but for what it is and how it came into being is nothing short of phenomenal. And the Viper was required to have weight added and power reduced regardless of engine size so other cars can compete. As long as ORECA had good drivers, the car was almost unstoppable in its class. The Viper racing was killed by restrictions of jealous racing officials that hated seeing and American car win so much

  • @ViperSRTnACR FIA GT1 regulation. just check it. they drive Aston Martin DB9, Maserati MC12, Ford GT, Nissan GTR, Lamborghini Murcielago, Corvette Z06. they all have 600hp, engine size doesn't matter. so why doesn't the viper compete with them? (btw they also used to drive Saleen S7)

ofcourse some guys got jealous. how can a 3.8l 6cyl porsche beat a 8.4l V10 viper? ok now the GT2 RS is awesome, but i think that viper's engine has way more potential. it should produce at least 850hp

  • @thierr8391

Yes I know, however the comp coupe though nice is still not as competitive as the previous GTSR's. And the Viper is always required to have some type of restriction unless its a private race event. Zackspeed still uses high revving V8's in their Vipers, not V10's because they're still not allowed. And its possible to get that much power from the engine but requires race gas. It's better to use a high quality turbo system and get 900 or 1K reliable HP out of the motor instead.

  • @FutebolBrasileiro - invented the car? you must be one of the biggest retards on youtube. benz invented the first petrol car in 1886, and peugeot followed in 1891, so how can you say that America invented the car?

  • @mzb007

americans always think they invented everything

  • a caixa é longa d+ pqp, pensei que o cara tivesse de ultima marcha nos 270km/h e do nada mais uma marcha!

  • anyway EUROPE RULES

  • nice cluster

  • @Samec007 No it's 270 km/h !!!

  • I'm a little bit disappointed... It practically stopped at 240 km/h...

  • @Gravedig00 this man don't know how to drive this car trust me

  • Lots of Torque.

  • shit . he change at 5000rpm not at 6500

  • one word: power

  • wow
