  • Master piece

  • Beautiful song. Remember hearing this on the radio ( think it was around 1988 or 1989 ) and rushing out to buy it on 7" vinyl. Not a fan of slow music but this is brilliant.

  • do you have the Watcha Gonna Do With My Lovin' (Vocal Dub Version)

  • words fail me,was a Christmas no 2 in uk, a complete freak of class melody and heart wrenching soul, no 2 in uk?????????? que? never again in my lifetime! still makes me well up, that pleading vocal!!! ouch it hurts inside!

  • ...CLASSIC!!!

  • She does a great job covering this tune...dare I say just as good if not a bit better than Ms. Mills....Hmmmmm

  • Timeless tune

  • For me this one dont work. I was growing up with the original. I miss the human vibe. The beat is so static and dont live. The horns sounds like a cheap synth. The voice is the best thing here.

  • well yet another classic

  • @leifmusik71

You and I are totally in sinc when it comes to this version of this track.

I bought the 12" vinyl. Played this. Was totally transported.....HELL!

  • This was one of the wind-down tunes played in the clubs here in Norwich when i used to go clubbin - Haaapeee memories of that last dance ( and Kiss ! ) at the end of the night before phone numbers were swapped - great days !!

  • @leifmusik71 hahaahah yeah ! Wasnt it illegal to tape from radio? We all did it though lol ...

  • @Mixsensei Not programs, for personal use, as each is a 'work' in itself. It's about use - if you play tracks back then quite a lot of times, when you're effectively listening as if you'd paid for them but haven't, it becomes illegal. But to tape a program & listen to it, reasonably, is fine.

The programs are a record - episodes of live radio programs are kept and adored decades later still. There are loads I'd love to find, like early Pete Tongs, Jeff Young's Big Beat & Danny Rampling on BBCR1

  • @Mixsensei It was, but back then nobody could stop you or control you, we didn't have iTunes or Lars Ulrich, and nobody complained, neither consumers nor artists, which is interesting. Greed gets to people I guess.

  • is it just me or was the 90`s the last decade for good music ?

  • @uksofunky66 It's just you.

  • love the 90's.........

  • Remix by Frankie Knuckles and David Morales for Def Mix. Maybe one of the few mixes that they worked on together. In my all time Top Ten, a true homage to the Philly Sound.
