  • wow...thats my bestfriends uncle..this guy used to watch us and teach us ball when we were younger..now he on the court Go Yata!

  • I guess you could say...

    *sunglasses*

    they GAINED the win.

    YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • kinda like austin rivers' shot

  • Man, I was at that game and I about peed my pants i was screaming so loud!!

  • The shot that made his career in the NBA.

  • What a dream..

  • yata is from UGA!!! WOO!!!! GO YATA!!

  • Damn I remember this live I went nuts. I cant believe that was his first NBA game. Killin it. You know when he hit that shot, all he could think was CHA-CHING!!!

  • @hefalumpkin You know what was even more amazing? David Locke was doing the play by play call that night for the local stations and he said:

"Why do I have a feeling this is going to be Sundiata Gaines and the storybook is going to be so good it's unreal? 96-94, 5.6 seconds left. Miles to inbound. Korver catch. Gives it off to Price. He's dribbling. He's out of control, gives to Gaines, at the horn - HE GOT IT! HE GOT IT FOR THREE!!! Sundiata Gaines, welcome to the NBA! The Jazz win 97-96!"

  • this is what you call burning a team to the max if your a Utah jazz fan. If your sundiata then this is called telling the organization I'm staying for the rest of the season!

  • @kobe4rings

I think it was multiple 3's consecutively, Lebron indeed went clutch that night, but Sunny D, baby!

  • HAHAHA! Look at Lebron! :P

  • I still get goosebumps watching this.

  • Reggie Miller talking is hilarious

  • i hate the jazz but that was sick

  • sick sundiata gaines

  • sick

  • You have to credit the rest of the Jazz team for trusting someone who just entered the NBA from D-League. Especially Jerry Sloan, for actually fielding Gaines.

  • Boozer's got a huge ass mouth.

  • gosh.... Fesenko almost breaks Scott Layden's arm off at :40....

  • This shot felt so good when it went it because the jazz had like a 10+ pts lead with a few minutes left and lebron actually showed some clutch, scoring like 12 straight pts and nearly winning the game if the game if the shot hadnt gone in.

  • WET

  • this was like the only highlight of his career lol.

  • @SSWarrior77Channel Not true. Know he's playing in Minnesota. Thats a kind of achiev... NAW.

  • @r0binzero isnt he with the nets

  • @sk8r2221 I don't know for sure. Saw him in Minnesota in 2k11 so yeah. Anyways i don't think he has a real contract. He gets like 10 day contracts.

  • @r0binzero yeh i was at the nets-pacer game and d will was injured so he was starting in wiliams spot

  • WHY...IS...REGGIE...MILLER....TALKING...LIKE...THIS

  • That's Utah. I'm Japanese-American from Seattle, a Sonics and Blazers fan, therefore I HATE Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz! I hate the Lakers and Phoenix too, because EVERY player Boston, Lakers, Phoenix and Utah get become GREAT, while Seattle and Portland got all the bad breaks. If I were white and born in Boston or Utah, I'd LOVE the Jazz and Celtics.

  • Boozer's got a huge mouth.

  • how the fuck did the jazz not make it to the finals? they had boozer, williams, kirilenko, korver, and gaines!?

oh yeah, cause the laker have fucking kobe and gasol -___-

  • @mctroll89 gaines???gaines got cut by 2 teams after the jazz...lol gaines!!!

  • If you hate the Jazz or you like them, you have to admit, that was one sweet ass shot

  • I dont see why anyone would dislike this

NBA D league call up, game winning 3 in his first game with new team

I would like to see you haters out there do better

  • @GoldenFlame75 this isn't his first game with his new team this is his like 2nd or 3rd

  • Gaines got some pussy that night.

  • @Geolink2349 a financial pussy - he got a contract with the nets for 2 years or sometihnh

  • i miss carlos boozer

  • he a nba player thats now a hero after the shot

  • @lilrobda1 fucking faggot

  • @ozaii890 Yes, you are one. I applaud you for acknowledging it. What did I say for you to call me a "fucking faggot"? I never replied to you, and I didn't say anything wrong, so why call me that?

  • oh and Kobe isn't a crybaby? he threatend to leave the Lakers if he didn't get better players around him. That sounds like a crybaby to me

  • he's better than price he deserves more playigh time

  • @skylar705 yeah

  • Can't get enough of it!!! :D <3 GO JAZZ!!!!!!

  • THE NBA WHERE AMAZING HAPPENS....haha nice shot this dude came in off an injured Deron Williams playing off a 10 day contract nailing the game winning shot!!! wtf!??!

  • sundiata gaines > lebron

  • @theMVPLebronJames...do ur homework bruh bcuz that play by lebron was def a travel, he caught the ball standing still and took a step back lifting up & moving his pivot foot thats a travel it wasnt like he back peddled back and let the ball roll to him if he did that then it wuld of been clean but he didnt if u catch the ball standing still u have 2 put the ball on the floor to move in any direction lbj traveled on that play & any coach or player will tell u that

  • uumm....kobe....in that buzzer beater vs the kings did NOT travel u guys might wanna go look at sum instructional videos of what a travel is kobe caught the ball, came STR8 down with both feet and rose str8 up into his shot, he didnt take no steps bak or sideways, it was a ordianary catch & shoot play so idk where u guys are coming from talking about he traveled bcuz he didnt it was a clean play, u guys need 2 do sum research & knw wat certain violations are in basketball

  • Great shot and all, but nobody seems to be mentioning how Anthony Parker f*cked up. No pass denial, late close out? C'mon. I bet Mike Brown ripped him for that

  • GREAT SHOT! FOR THE WIN....

  • He sucks but anyway nice shot...

  • it's a miracle, not 3 points, his career, he is a idol for everyone.

    go gaines !

  • hahaha i was watching this live at home.. amazing 4th quarter and amazing gw

  • I noticed..a lot have been doing game winners this season...Kobe 3, baron, gaines, crawford... who else did i miss?

  • dirk

  • garnett

  • act like they won the dam nba finals...i thought it was the regular season

  • that was awesome.. LBJ MAYBE WANTS TO FART.. HAHAHAHA

  • embarrassing

  • Real quick! THat was sick titz gave me a boner. YEA DIGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Korver's shot in the previous Jazz possession was sick as well. Hopefully Gaines keeps proving he's worth a season contract

  • nice shot gains ur a keeper lol at jerry i never see him so cheerful

  • I feel good for this guy... He probably just earned a signing for the rest of the season.

  • that was a crazy 4th quarter sign him for the whole season

  • Sundiata = The Lion King of Mali

  • man i almost went to this game i was thinking about buying tickets hahah if i did go i would of pissed my pants hahaha

  • kirilenko sure was lockin lbj up before he got hurt lebron was strugglin against him w/his length & brewer did a good job on him before the refs began givin him all those foul calls late in the 4th in which alot of those lbj initated the contact...& im a laker fan too gotta give utah they respect

  • nice

  • Kirilenko shut down LeBron. Korver shot a fantastic from behind the backboard shot and Gaines put the icing on the cake.

  • Dude kirilenko was shutting him down then he got hurt RONNIE shut him down then LEBRON said no more... then he got raped ahahahaha go jazzz~~~

  • Would've loved to see his face at that moment....after defying the fans when he got a little hot...what a jackass!

  • love the jazz!! great addition to the team.

    eat that cavs.

  • haha i was watching this game last night and im like who will the jazz give it to cuz deron williams was out so i thought maybe they would give it to okur or even kyle korver but they gave it to this guy and he was clutch! Haha

  • That was fucking amazing. Not a cavs or jazz fan(heat fan) but I was watching it anyway. Seriously tho...after Lebron hit that 30 foot fade away I figured they were fucked but I found it very interesting that Sloan put Gaines back in for the last play. When I saw that he was coming back I could just feel that he was going to do something special. Truly amazing now I know it's only a few games but Gaines has a chance be a very special player that shot wasn't a coincidence

  • Comment removed

  • What makes this more memorable is Marv Albert's commentating on the buzzer beater.

  • Way to go YATA!!! DGD

  • Go Dawgs!!!

  • This is like nba 2k10 my player mode you making to the nba and hittin the game winner awesome feeling hahahah

  • Great shot by this former Georgia Bulldog. I saw him lead a young and underrated Bulldog team to an improbable SEC Championship and the first NCAA appearance for the school since 2002 (due to former coach Jim Harrick's illegal recruiting methods).

  • @ iceway2smooth LOL!!!!!!!!

    great game,,, classic shot

  • wow im so happy for that guy he must feel like the luckiest guy on earth!

  • @serbianprincess ....... wtf he practiced for years why would he feel lucky.. he'd feel like his hard work's paying off

  • @nonameddog....im not saying his hard work isnt paying off, but the fact that a key player from his team was injured that night which allowed him to have the playing time to have an opportunity to score a game winning buzzer...people can work hard their entire lives but nothing prepares you for your first buzzer beater in the NBA...

  • oh, i thought you meant the shot its self was lucky

  • i didnt see any travel??

  • damn the cavs had this one but lebrick chooses to put the ball in bounds instead of trying to make some free throws.

danny ferry please dispose anthony parker ASAP

  • Sunday came to play!

  • Would've been more awesome if he hit that shot right in Lebrons face.

"No named D-league player defeats Lebron and the cavs"

    perfect!

  • @h4z well he didn't so..

  • Bron-Bron sucks donkey wang. What a butt fuck.

  • if anybody traveled 4sure, it was lebron on that first 3 he hit when he missed that free throw 2 put em up 1, a player cannot catch the ball w/out puttin the ball on the floor and take a big step back to the 3pt line or in any direction that was a obvious travel that the refs let him get away with so its only fitting how the game ended like this bcuz lebrons ass traveled on that 1..that was a big time shot tho by gaines thats a way 2 make an impression

  • Amen. How can the refs miss a call like that? Oh... forgot. Lebron.

  • LeBron is NEVER travelling !

At least not for the NBA... :p :p :p

  • when he did that 2 step backwards that's not a travel. he basically got a rebound, and took two steps before taking a shot. you dont have to put the ball on the floor if you're taking 2 steps. it's like if someone catches a long pass takes two steps and dunks/makes a layup

  • Wrong. You can only lift both feet before a shot when you're already moving. Like if you're dribbling to the basket for a layup, you can take two steps. James in this case just grabbed a rebound standing still. Automatically, one of his feet becomes a pivot foot. His first step back was fine but the moment he picked up his other foot to step behind the line, that's a travel. You have to put the ball down before lifting the second foot. But who cares right now? It created an awesome game-winner.

  • well... kobe pretty much did the equivalent vs. the kings on his buzzer beater since a jumpstop is counted as 2 steps. the rulebook states that you can take 2 steps like that they changed it this year for some odd reason...

  • it would have been a travel last year. but since they refined the rule it wasn't. just like the kobe shot vs. the kings. before he took a dribble he took a jump step backwards. thats also 2 steps. wasn't called.

  • @theMVPLebronJames Catching a ball in motion for A layup/dunk, isn't the same as getting the rebound standing still and takeing two steps back. A good analogy would be; If I pass you the ball while you are standing still and you take two steps foward for a shot.

  • Jazz Fan here, sad to say but if you look at Ronnie Price, he traveled when he caught the ball. Still amazing shot though, and glad refs missed the call.

  • umm i dont see shit

  • Look at Price;s feet right when he catches the ball, he does this quick stutter step thing before he puts the ball on the floor.

  • Its pretty obvious. The Jazz deserve it after the refs like Lebron be a human wrecking ball and get "and ones" when he initiated the contact.

  • but he dribbles the ball while doing that watch closely

  • Doesnt mater, if the two feet move before the ball hits the ground its a travel. It seems to me that the ball hits right after the shuffel, its really close.

  • The refs were terrible all game, and mostly in the Cav's favor. So it's fitting.

  • Very close... probably was a tiny stutter step but the refs will normally let something that small go. It was literally a matter of inches that he shifted and he barely picked up his foot before dribbling. Good no-call given the situation. However, Lebron's blatantly obvious GIANT step back behind the three after catching the ball and not even taking one dribble was laughable. So, let's call it a wash.... Jazz win.
