  • i like ur work!

  • Just because someone's younger doesn't want they can't handle the technical makeup techniques :) and like I said, having them know it gives them more time to practice!

  • I'm young and I can do a winged eyeliner easily now, but I would've also appreciated being taught it when I first started with eyeliner, because it my eyeliner just awkward in the beginning and it would've spared me the trouble I've come to realise my permanent casual everyday look now. Even if I wasn't good with it at the beginning, I would've liked to know about the wing early on to get practice on it asap. :)

  • the base should've been matte. there's too much shimmer its overwhelming.

  • What the heck. Weirdest eyelash cutler ever. Oh yea and ur lashes r wimpy

  • So the liquid liner ...when you made 'wings' on the corners makes what effect to your eyes? bigger smaller etc?

  • @Tangerinez77 It creates a cat eye effect which is always flattering

  • too many haters. i think it was nice

  • Step 8: ready to look like a panda

  • Sorry but this is tooo fake, it makes you look kinda barbiedoll, i dont know, its just not pretty

  • What brand of eyeliner do you use? And thanks for the video! :)

  • why do alot of filipinas trying to have a lighter skin, you can have a natural brown color like judy and be so beautiful...love u Judz

  • I'd note that younger girls, as opposed to older girls that don't know where to start, might want to stay away from shading and defining an outer-v for everyday...

  • Good video but ooo bad skin yikes

  • Good video. Very simple to understand. Thanks. I'm going to try your technique.

  • thank you u helped me a lot

  • this is a tad too much makeup .

  • thanks!! this was really useful. anways this is unrelated but i'm trying to get a scholarship and you can help me by registering at cappex com / ? code = EH9338 without the spaces! its free and the site connects you with colleges

  • The only thing i don't like about this look is the eyeliner, but i love the way your lid looks

  • This video is good, but it dosent really help much for newbies

  • this isi horrible

  • You looked so good in the video but the picture looked horrible.

  • reallyyyy bad!!!!

  • seems like everyone is using urban decay primer potion..any cheaper brands?

but thank you for the video, super helpful :)

  • @jlaa07 elf has a good primer its 3 dollars i think and can be bought at its website or found at certain target stores

  • @TheHastyNewYorker I actually bought that product as well as the under eye concealer and glow from their website (super cheap and good products, I'd recommend it to everyone!) and I was watching this video to figure out how to use it... Seeing as my techniques weren't working well. I couldn't find any helpful videos for liquid-based under eye concealers.

  • According to me ... pencil eyeliner is da best !

  • thanku gorgie

i will apply mines right now!!!!

  • thank you so much for making this video!

  • This eye look is stunning!! gorgeous!!!

  • it looks very pretty but i dont think people who are starting should put on alot of makeup

  • I actually did not like this vid, it doesnt go well with your complection

  • where did you buy your eye liner from? and how much?

  • i think it looks amazing! looks easy...im 23 yrs old and makeup challanged...pretty sad. but this looks pretty easy...and she look beautiful!

  • hey i think this is a helpful tutorial i just wish you could have explained if we use a light or medium or dark shade cuz im having trouble differentiating between the shades

  • This is exactly what I needed. Step by step guide. Thank u so much!

  • so perdy

  • awe-inspiring ideas - thanks 4 sharin, have anyone tested Olay's latest product line? it is not easy to get quality makeup in Francis but you can get some magnificent samples of make-up by going to "Gratis-Makeup-Samples", theyre ace.

  • Which song is that in the background ?

  • what? Of course you can use eyeshadow as a base, dummies! Just make sure to put on some primer first. then you could use a lighter colored base, or whatever color you'd prefer. it works the same and then you ensure that you dont have a crease line... unless you have really oily eyelids.. but its even then an eyshadow base is better. way to be close minded, people. -_o"

  • is the eye base an eye shadow? if it is it has to be dark or light?

  • Comment removed

  • does anyone know what's the difference between primer and base..?

  • @dafakalahko

a primer is something you use to to make your eyeshadow stay on longer such as urban decas primer potion. a base is a eyeshadow that you use 1st before you start to build up the colours

  • can anyone tell me what brushes she used? please :)

  • Omg, i lovee your hair ! Its so shiney, is that your natural hair color?

  • Perfect! :)

  • soo helpful, but what is a base can I use any eyeshadow as a base?

    Thks

  • No you can't use any eyeshadow was a base. Only cream types like the kind shown, a lot of gurus also us NYX Jumbo pencils as a base!

  • thanks for the video, just bought this color and wasn't sure how I was going to where it!!!

  • thanks... really helpfull!!!

  • great idea for eye makeup i always get creases.. thanks!

  • Thanks!!!

  • awesome!!!

  • Hello Judy.

I was wondering.... what tool did you use on your hair for this tutorial? I REALLY want to know.

    Amy :D

  • that is such a cool eyelash curler :P

  • thanks

  • Hi Judy,

What kind of brushes did you use?

  • @lanilei82 I'm wondering this as well~

  • if you have not done so already, could you please do a review of the REVLON Illuminance creme shadows?. thank you very much

  • WHAT LIQUID EYELINER DO YOU USEEEE

  • You can ask at M.A.C.

  • I find this video very helpful. Thanks judy

  • Thanks love the video. This was very helpful and very easy to follow.

  • i think people who are starting out on makeup should not use liquid liner cuz they will mess it up and most starters are young so i dont think need a wing tip.. just my opinion

  • I totally agree , I am just starting to get into make up and i really dont wear Eyeliner on my lids , One because i dont really have a steady hand and mess up everytime i try and Two its too much for me.

  • @xxlostintranslationx i'm 18 and have worn makeup since age 13 (the age allowed by my father), and I never ever apply eyeshadow the way the "gurus" do.. I've always done it my own way.

  • @xxlostintranslationx Personally i'm 20 and have been using liquid liner for a very long time and am good with that. I however dont know anything about eye shadows, so although I agree with what you're saying I feel like this video is more for people learning with eye shadows. Well at least it works for me lol.

  • @xxlostintranslationx but practice makes perfect. and plus they are gonna have to try it sometime so might as well have someone teach you like judy who is awesome :)

  • your videos are awesomee!! I like how you're soo thorough with each step and tell us EXACTLY what to do!! Thanks for taking your time to make these videoes, they are veryyy helpful!! <3 <3

  • thanks for the help!

  • Hi Judy,

I got a big problem with the eyeliner application 'cause the wing tends to be smudged as I open and close my lid.

Could you please upload a tutorial about the different ways of applying eyeliner? thanks ;-) by the way love all yr vids! :D

  • Hi, could you also go through the brushes that you used for this ? Love this tutorial. very helpful.

  • Gorgeous eyeshadows! Thanks for sharing!

  • o-o whats the song title called? i know its from Pinthat, but whats the title of the song? o.O

  • I like your approach to applying your liquid eyeliner. That is one thing I have always been struggling with, finding a way which will work for me to apply the eyeliner. Cause I tend to always apply too much since I can never make a straight line, I will definately try your method next! Thanks for sharing this : )

  • VERY BEAUTIFUL!!! I luv this!

  • wow, stop hating on judy, she's beautiful and so is this look.

    love the tutorial :)

  • Thanks for this video!

  • awesome awesome thnak you so much. IT WILL HELP ME

  • where did u buy your primer from?

  • You can buy UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) from Sephora; and if you don't have one near you, you can purchase off their website. Or you can purchase one similiar at a drugstore near you : )

  • You are so pretty!

  • Wow, you make it look so easy. I really like your positive presentation, too. :) I wouldn't wear that much makeup, though.

  • hmm. =|

Its a pretty look and everything but for a beginner I think its a bit much. In my opinion it should be more light colors, let them experiment with diffrent colors to match there style. I know when I first started out I would have messed this up soo bad, not knowing when to stop with the base and all as well as top eye liner.

  • I agree.. what beginner would have all those brushes??

  • wow nice makeup but i couldnt ever pull off that much makeup. I also find when i put shadow along my base of my eye it makes my eye look smaller and really makes my black circles more prominant. Could you possibly do a more subtle look but not a natural look? Thanks.

  • i didn't like the makeup ... at all

    sorry =(

  • hey!hey! asians are sooo much way good looking

  • Great vid.. very helpful :D

is there a substitue for a primer

    because I don't have one??

  • Great video! Thanks for posting! Your an awesome teacher!

    :o)

  • very helpful..but for the base did you just use an eyeshadow? does it matter what kind you use or color? i was kind of confused about that..

  • Depends on the look. If you're doing a pink-purple look then youre not going to use a brown eyeshadow. Try a cream color that matches the look

  • love the colors

  • why not post a photo of urself to show us how "attractive" you looked?

  • ehhh

  • I cant believe someone said you have too much make up on!

You do not have at all, you have just the right amount on and it looks beautiful.

  • @minusthebear4 i agree! i HATE when people say someone has too much makeup. i'm pretty sure the person who said this has NO CLUE how to wear makeup. and let's say she did have a lot on, who cares? if it looks good, why does it matter if it's a lot? it's makeup!

  • You shouldn't put such a thick line of liquid liner , because it looks like you have no lashes .

  • i kno riite

  • great video! i love that yu explained what each step does [ie primer] b/c even though i wasn`t a complete newbie to make up [or techniques i didn`t know existed && still somehow did them on my own] i didn`t know what a primer was or that there was a way to prevent e/s creasing && now thanks to yu mainly [yu were my 1st yt guru] i learned that & so much more! thank youuu!

  • Thanks Judy for the tutorial, I love it. Helps out a lot for us beginners who are just getting our self into makeup.

  • to the dudes who went along the lines of "yuck, girl video" or have given up youtube because of videos like this... good for you. seems you dont even know how to use youtube.

  • Jealous.

  • OMG..very helpful :)

  • Shee is sooooooooooo cute

  • hey judy! thanks for doing this tutorial!!! I DO MAKEUP TUTORIALS as well. and im always willing to learn anything. you inspire me to do what i do cos you're one of my favorite gurus! thanks :]

  • big help...learned a few new things!!!

  • very helpful (as always!).. thanks!!!!

  • lol...I totally with you about when I was a newbie to makeup. I thought I couldn't do anything about my eyeshadow coming off within 15 minutes until I found out about primers. Like you, I only used one e/s color and thought that was that. Not until I saw all these makeup videos on youtube that I learned how to put more than one color on and about the crease and blending. You're video is very easy to follow for beginners. :o)

  • what is E/S??

  • i know that it means eyeshadow but why you write for it E/S??

  • umm because its shorter?

  • I love your hair in this vid!

  • why am i watching this?im a non emo male (cause she cute)

  • Comment removed

  • love the make up!!! where can i find a primer?

(search Elzie Bibbs & check him out! let me know what you all think! thanks!)

  • SEPHORA,ULTA

  • THANKS!

  • you can get it at sephora, they have urban decay primer potion (UDPP) or Too faced shadow insurance and even Benefit has one. They also have one by MAC or you can use MAC paint pots as a primer and a base. L'oreal has on called L'oreal decrease. There's a lot out there but you can go to sephora and test it out and see which ones you like. Ulta carries Too Faced Shadow Insurace too. HTH. :)

  • thanks judy...but wat other lid primer do u recomend apart frm udpp

  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance is a good one too :)

  • Thank you for making this Vid...Thank you...Lol.

  • good job!!! i love make up and this is very helpfull...thank you sweetheart!!

  • JUDY! Thank you so much for doing this tutorial! It was very helpful! =]

  • your just jealous for her samantha589 ur so rude . just dont watch her videos then why dont u put your own videos up there so we can all see how good u are with makeup

  • its a little too shimmery for me..

but thats okay! it still gives the idea. you can take this and do literally ANYTHING with it. and that's what is important.

  • whenever I try to do like a smokey eye or experiment with makeup I always have trouble with the outer corner. I'll try the V. Thanks Judy!

  • come and visite me!!!!!!

  • thats rubbish, its really nice!

where are your perfect makeup tutorials then :P

    x

  • Well thats just rude. Its not scary. I don't see your makeup tutorials.

  • I feel like you NEED false lashes when liquid liner is used like that because that big block of black color totally makes your eyelashes vanish unless you have falsies in that are longer and thicker.

  • sometimes that can be true but what i do is make the wing and the line a little bit thinner so that it doesnt look like that. a lot of people have been asking me how to do the line thinner when using liquid eyeliner and all it really takes is pracice

  • Yeah, that's definately true. It can be frustrating, LOL.

  • rofl.. its called 'lip gloss'

    :P

  • You mean lipgloss?

  • morrowindmods, i think it all depends on where and when you wear it. I think if those looks are for party, they are perfect.

  • i didnt really talked about you :P i talked about girls in general that wear alot of makeup you were perfect

But wtf why thid i get Thumb Down

You girls agree you need 1 ton of makeup ?

  • love this look (:

but i liked your old videos better

  • can you tell me where to get eye primer..

  • the one she used you can get at sephora..there is one at the galleria or the rice village or baybrook mall, idk which you are closest to...

  • Cute look !

  • ty for this im still learning and idk how to do the outer v to well but im learining

  • Great video, Judy

  • JuDY!! u have a cute smile!!! :-) xoxoxo!

  • I love the videos where you don't promote beautychoice and other brands. I like the tutorials more than the infomercial.

    but, awesome video :)

  • What I pretty look. I have eyelashes just like yours. Im glad to see im not alone in that.haha

  • you should help explain what brushes you used& why. & more about how the colors blend together?

  • Good question. Pretty basic eyeshadow brushes include one particularly for putting the shadow on (usually a c shape and very dense/thick), a domed shadow brush used to place color into the crease (and to blend), and then a fluffier and bigger domed brush for specific blending purposes and to put on a highlight color right beneath the eyebrow.

  • more mascara!! lol i put like 4 or 5 coats on mine everyday! lol i love ya judy. :D

  • thank you! that helps

  • r u serious? Check out how many subscribers she has. You say she needs serious help! Please i think your the one who needs it.

  • hahaha thats just funny lol. Judy you ROCK

  • MAKE ANOTHER HAIR TUTORIAL!!!!!! please :]

  • ooh, and can you do a video on how to buy and blend makeup for your skin tone...?

  • thank you! i have no idea how to use makeup and this was v. helpful. would like to see similar videos. (can you do one on powder/concealer/foundation/tinted moisturizer/blush?)

  • this would have been perfect if you put on fake lashes ;)but it's still very cute and simple

  • ur my fav youtube subscription dude
