  • my choir did this a while ago....amazinnggggg we sounded pretty similar. the acting was the most fun for me :)

  • Isn't it terrific that Potatoes aren't the only products of Idaho.

  • MONTY PYTHON?? No way! I love it!!!

  • wow..quite the scream on the dude..well done

  • "My bonnie lass, I need not flatter-

What she doth not have, doth not matter!"

    Genius XD

  • it seems as if the dancing was done as a way to cover up the mediocre singing

  • So I think I love you guys for the Monty Python reference. And just... this song.

  • this work is by Thomas Morley, an English composer and was created in 1595. Madrigals are amusing. The fa la la la bit is when they are doing naughty things generally in such works! This version is entertaining and enjoyable.....thanks guys

  • I remember that song very well! took ALOT of practice!! haha

  • Very funny. I am proud to say that I still have a whistle range as well at 17! (male)

  • Omfg epic ahahahahaha i lmao hahahahaha i cant wait to do "The Seasonings" with my choir, as soprano soloist hahaha

  • Wow. I want to have his babies.

  • amazing

    unique

    nothing like it hahaha XD

  • wow... what a fun performance. And the high F.. yikes., I hurt thinking about it. :)

  • I imagine he can't sing with such a range normally, but for him to hit that high F!!! Quite astounding

  • Amazing! I MISS choir!

  • Wow. I'd like to point out that that young man hit a high F natural towards the end! That's the third F natural above middle C! Holy crap! I'm amazed! :D

  • 0_O ....wtf :D

  • Great job kids! Good work~

  • Wow! IS he doing a vocal whislte at the end?

  • that's one REALLY DAMAGED vocal cord at the end :D

    after what he just did

  • that was amazing!!!

  • Is he a countertenor? That's the highest falsetto I've heard, otherwise.

  • OMG THAT WAS AMAZING!!! i wish my choir was this amazing to pull this off, well done!!!

  • That was absolutely beautiful and strong! Thank you for your dedication to rehearsal and production values. Thank you for your 'work'.

  • this song takes so much rehearsal... not because it's a difficult piece, but because all the choir members have to sing it soooo much so that the jokes get old enough so they don't bust out laughing during the concert and actually make it the whole way through the song.

  • @scoRocs thats true, my Madrigal group took a while to get the laughs out, but in the end we got sick of the jokes and it sounded amazing

  • @scoRocs my choir is doing this song for our madrigal and we were joking around, doing some of the movements in here. and we couldn't keep a straight face cuz it was so funny! :)

  • we are doing this, and already did it once at a showcase and we had the audience uproaring in laughter. Oh how fun this song is :D

  • awesome!

  • And BTW, great director and very open minded of doing P.D.Q. justice in excelent humor!

  • The funniest & well best performance of P.D.Q. Bach ever!Great job, Idaho!!

  • this just MADE MY DAY. especially the coconuts!!! xD xD

  • the guy singing the high note..looks very pained and uncomfortable while doing it

  • Well he should, he's normally a bass. But he's the most amazing musician I know.

  • lmfao Best rendition of "My Bonny Lass She Smelleth" I've heard/seen so far. I did this with a few other choir members (with one person on each part) last year, and compared to this, it pales in comparison. (Well, we only had 1.5 weeks to learn/rehearse it before we had to perform, but still...) Very well done!

  • Nailed it. Good stuff y'all

  • Actually, Corey is a tenor.

  • Ms. J is such a livid awesome director! haha Cory is amazing. =)

  • Awesome falsetto! Wish we got to do this in high school choir, as it was we did Backstreet Boys...blech. Anyway, great job!

  • Fantastic job. Great quality singing and a whole lotta fun. Kudos to all of the students and their teacher!

  • The part at 4:00 is awesome.

  • Just about the best I've ever seen!

  • Nice Python reference!

  • that interpretation is AWESOME! Our choir does it completely differently, but I love this way too. It's one of my favorite songs we've ever done!

  • I think that note that high C over Bb or something.Look for Mado Robin Lucia,it's the same.

  • Haha. I thought this was my choir for a minute, a few years back we sang a lovely "screaming" type peace, Suite De Lorca, I forget what song within it it is. But this is nice =D

  • I'm proud to say I hear that note every morning of my life, and to say that Cory is my brother!

  • Great job you guys! Our choir is doing the same piece, and plan to shamelessly steal you choreography. If your ever in Phoenix, check us out.

  • hahaha, great. my bonny lass is a great madrigal, but peter shickele outdid himself on this one. i have the sheet music upstairs....but...where was the scat singing?? haha, jk. quite good.

  • GO CORY!!

  • i was in the front row of this perfomrance yaaaaaa!

  • If those people could shut up for a little we could listen to him much better. He didn't do something ridiculous.People are so immature.I am angry.

  • hmmm...i think I was there...lol..yeah I was. haha

  • This man on 4:14 is absolutely THE BEST :D

  • Hells yeah, that's me in the upper left, three people in.

  • Yes. Cory can actually hit that note.

I'm totally in that choir now. Yay IF!

    -Cassie

  • Was that guy *really* singing that high note??? If he was, holy crap--- that's totally amazing. How was it "discovered" that he could do that?

  • yes he was really singing that note, I am in choir with him right now at I.F. he actually just did it today for old times sakes. It is amazing I have never asked how he found out he could do that, I wasn't in choir with them last year so I am not so sure, but it is amazing.

  • i was in the front row at this!

  • i fell out of my seat! my chior teacher hates opera and i hate her!

  • Omg, my chorus teacher sang this in a choir of all the local choir directors. We all wanted to crap ourselves.

  • and that's why i love going to these. they are funny and very entertaining. Cory Whittier has got a voice haha.

  • wow hahaha that guy has RANGE

  • That was frickin' wicked!
