  • I had the same problem, what helped for me was rinsing and repeating with a shampoo specifically for oily hair. I'd also clip it back from my face at night. Also good to keep a can of dry shampoo in your bag for touch ups during the day :)

  • I tend to just eat cereal before I go to bed. It stops me getting hungry through the night, and obviously it hardly has any calories..If its something light like a piece of fruit or low fat yoghurt it should be fine I guess?

  • Have you tried juicing vegetables? It's a fabulous way to get your fruit/veggie servings, it helps with digestion, and it fills you up! I just started like a few days ago. I just drink one glass of juiced veggies/fruits in the morning in lieu of breakfast and dinner. i have some snacks throughout the day, and have a normal lunch. I blend like 3 celery stalks, 3 carrots, half a cucumber, half an apple, a couple asparagus stalks, and an orange :) Or have the drink as a snack.

  • use a volumizer if you blow dry your hair (i use one from aveda - you can buy it online). it could also be the foods you're eating and you might be touching your hair too much at the roots. that's what happens with me, anyway.

  • Some way`s to keep your hair from being greasy is use babypowder on it, i know it sounds kinda dumb but it works, just not too much. Don`t use moisturising shampoo and conditioner. You can also just not use conditioner, get a de-tangler if you find your hair get`s tangley.

  • your supposed to eat throughout the day gloria cmon! you eat the majority of the calories at breakfast. between lunch and dinner you eat light snacks like and apple or banana or some grapes. this helps you not over indulge during dinner and keeps you full. and also with your metabolism. I fucking failed too cause I've been eating pizza :( but I still eat my snacks so I don't get hungry past 10. YOU CAN DO IT!

  • I have oily-ass roots with dry, fluffy ends, I'm 120 pounds (trying to get down to 100), I'm really hungry right now, but don't want to eat anything because I had a donut for breakfast (haven't had lunch because of that), I woke up at 6 am and have been taking naps all day.

  • When I had my hair (going through chemo don't have any now) if ever I had to be somewhere in a hurry and my hair was oily I would put some baby powder in the roots and shake it in a bit. I know what you mean. My hair was clean and just washed and would get oily quick on certain days. For the weight thing, I used to be pretty big and I had to cut chocolate, greasy foods and soda because of gallbladder probs and cutting all those foods I lost like 30 lbs in a month. <3 ya Gloria!!!

  • Try washing your pillow cases a lot, too :) I had the same problem and then I realized it was my pillow case :o Also try using a dry shampoo or clean and clear blotting sheets on your hair :)

  • Gloria please eat!!!! Just eat heathy if you starve yourself you will only gain weight or not lose any weight at all! Have you tried weight watchers it really works! I have an app on my phone that helps me track my points been on for two weeks and I lost 4 lbs

  • Oh and gloria when your hungry drink a lot of water and drink green tea everyday, it increases your motabolism. Also eat things high in fibre you will feel full for a long time, salad will fill you up, loads of green leaves, just put lemom juice on it dont go for dressing

  • When it gets oily and you cant be arsed to wash it, put talcon powder in, it works, and the less you shampoo the less greasy it will get because if you wash it too much your hair gets used to it, so if you miss a day and dont wash it, it will get greasy because its used to being washed lol

  • your washing your hair too much, the more often you wash your hair, the faster it will get greasy becuase when you wash it, you are stripping out all of the natural oils your hair uses to keep itself healty, so it makes much more to make up for it, hence greasyness.

    i personally wash my hair every other day (unless i do something that requires me to wash it sooner such as working with a bunch of dirt or something), and it keep my hair clean, healthy, and grease free

  • For your hair try dry shampoo! My favorite brand is Batiste because it smells good :)

    It soaks up all the oil in your hair with out taking a shower.

  • If your hair gets greasily too easy ( plus you have sleeping issues ) check your ovaries. You might have pcos ( along with other symptoms anxiety, heart palpitations, cravings for carbs, depression moods and things like that ). Having that said, pcos makes you lose weight really slow and gain it super fast! I hope you don't have non of this, but lots of overweight women have pcos ( I am one of them ). Greetings beauty.

  • I'm a larger girl and I tend to have a thing for skinny guys. It's really embarrassing. especially if they're shorter than you as well because I'm relatively tall. It looks ridiculous.   • Ok here's a list of things for you to do:

    -Don't wash your hair as often and your scalp will adjust and not produce as much oil. You'll feel greasy and gross at first but your scalp will adjust

    -Don't believe the bullshit about not eating past 6. You should eat 2-3 hours before you go to sleep

    -Find out the number of calories your body uses in a day and subtract 500 from that to get your daily allotted calories for weight loss. You can gain weight by eating too little

  • you need to switch to a shampoo that doesnt have soap or alcohol in it, like the Phyto line. dry shampoo also helps for in between washings

  • 5 small meals a day my love, keeps your metabolism running. Have breakfast at 8, snack (yogurt, fiber bar) at 10, lunch at 12, another snack at 2 or 3 and then dinner at 5 or 6 :)

  • For your oily hair, when you're in the shower don't put conditioner on the roots. Sometimes that can make hair oily.. Also, you can buy a dry shampoo. Some good drugstore brands are Not Your Mother's and Suave. Tresemme has one, too but I haven't heard good things about it.

    Dry shampoo is a powder in a can an you spray it on your roots, leave it for like 30 seconds, then brush it through your hair and it helps to absorb the oils.

Also try not to brush hair with a paddle brush but with a wide tooth comb because paddle brushes simulate oil and drags the oil down the hair shaft/folicle, love ya Gloria ! ;)

  • Your roots can be oily if you use conditioner. If you use conditoner you should only use it on your roots if you get oily hair fast. :-)

In some cases that isn't good for some hair but because mine is the way it is it works well for me, someone recommended using Dry shampoo.   • I know this sounds crazy hard, but if you cut gluten and dairy out of your diet and just eat protein, fruits, and vegetables, your body might respond more quickly in regards to weight loss. (I have done this in my life and it really worked) Also it helps to have a variety of fruit in the house cause it really helps with sweet cravings. Plus the water in fruits like melon makes you feel more full. Anyway, you should be so proud of yourself because you're courageous and beautiful!

  • after you wash your hair use mousse on your wet hair then air dry your hair or if you NEED your hair to be dry, use the blow dryer on cold. should work! (:

  • For your sleep issue: what I do is no matter what time I fall asleep I set my alarm clock for like 8 or 9 in the morning then I'll get tired faster during night time, and if I don't wake up that early, then I just try to do something that will make me tired during the day, like exercise

  • Dry shampoo works good, but you can also just sprinkile some baby powder onto your roots and brush it through your hair. It works really well, I sometimes do that on the second day if I don't have a shower.

  • As for your hair you have to really massage the scalp when you shampoo. If your scalp has a hint of a flushing to it after you hop outa the shower, then you massaged enough. If it is pale with no pinkness to it then you didn't do it enough. genetics play a part in the oil glands too. Try using dry shampoo at the roots when you notice oil. Don't get the tressame dry shampoo's though, they suck.

I use to jump rope or run around for hours on end and have energy after a meal to do it all over again...   • I don't know what kind of shampoo you use, but, if you have the money, I would recommend buying Redken products, Or using organic shampoo. But, if you only use the generic name brands you get at the store, then at least use a CLarifying shampoo once a month. Clarifyiers remove excess oil and product build up from your hair. It's not for everyday use, it recommends you only use it once a week, but even that is a lot. You can just use it as needed.

  • when you feel hungry, it could also mean that you're thirsty. drink a glass of water. if you're still hungry. just snack on a fruit or very something light. there's no certain time when you can't eat. just as long as you're up 2-3 hours before you go to bed. best time to workout is in the morning to fasten your metabolism. g'luck gloria. love you! :)

  • Gloria, it's okay to eat late at night as long as you make good decisions. Don't eat anything starchy or any animal products. If you're hungry late at night, eat a fruit or vegetable because it's easy to digest and is full of water. And for the hair, do you touch your hair a lot of brush it a lot? Than that may be a cause. It may also just be genetics. When my hair gets oil, I just put it up in a pony tail, because it hides it.
