Honestly, I think Ann Peeble's version was a perfect vocal, and I don't think anyone could improve upon it. However, this cover takes the song, and turns it in to an anthem of female empowerment. So, I think it's a good cover, and Tina did an awesome job. Ann Peeble is really underrated. She should have been as big as Aretha or Gladys or Tina. I am glad that Tina likes her a lot too.
