I think this game was awesome for its time, But the only flaw I find is the Level System. I know Square was trying something new. But. I guess I answered my own comment. Development is all about trial and error. Still a great game.

@Roxasftw13 first of all NO, NES was the shit you cant even fight agianst it. the music was the best in al its 8-bit glory, the background music for castle pandemonium sounds better than most video game music now,

yeah but casting ultima was the only thing i could do with Maria, because he's immune to all the elemental spells

This boss isn't to hard to beat it is just very time consuming. I think he has 20,000 HP But you can only take a maximum of 999 away at a time if your lucky, This is still one of my favorite bosses.

@ZAPPSOFT In the NES version, the Emperor has 10,000HP, but damage isn't capped at 999. Using Blood Swords, it's easy to do about 4,000-5,000 Damage per hit.
