The UAE and Gulf States in the Middle East really need to mandate "UNECE Transport Regulation 38" (UNECE = United Nations Economic Commission for Europe), this would stipulate the mandatory requirement for new market vehicles to have as standard equipment a "REAR FOG LAMP".

The rear fog lamp is designed for such conditions including sandstorms etc, they are stronger than a vehicles hazard-warning lamps which should ONLY be used at crash scenes and breakdowns.

Plus: Triangle/Safety Vests.

what's really stupid and takes this sad story out of time is the way the autorities are covering the real number of death people. Imagine 200 cars involved in this accident, and at least 25 burned completely!!! So, huge impact, cars burning instantly and just 3 deaths reported by the police!!! Fucking joke!

The same joke as with the guys that entered with their cars inside the mall and stole the jeweleries. Police put in front some fake robbers!I was 10 minutes away from this...thanks God!

Yeah,this is coz of you morons idiots.Drunk bus,trucks & taxi drivers are the worst of the lot.Everyone just took their turn & got to where they wanted to go.When they do signal,it consists of a helper lamely sticking a hand out the window & giving a cursory wave.Drive like idiots, pull out in front of you & then look at you as though you were the one who made a mistake..I've been saying how stupid they r for a very long time & this incident just goes to show you that im 100% correct once again.

This is just a small part of the whole scene.... there were dozens of vehicles lined up in the whole area.( according to newspapers about 200 vehicles were hit by each other due to very thick fog).
