We spend 13 years in school and + 4 cause I'm going to college. Some of the basics we learn that we use in our average everyday jobs we learn at the age of 12 or we just need common sense. I think we should be taught the basics of what Profession we want to pursue in 11th and 12th grade whether it's engineering,art,film, or whatever . I just learned the profession I want to pursue has nothing to do with all the AP math I'm doing. Then I have to spend thousands of dollars on college...smh

Which school offers curriculum like critical thinking, negotiation and accounting (basics of course, like arithmetics) . Cause this are the things you need the most in your day to day life. All the can come later, so for a short answer, you don't need school.

Long answer; you need knowledge, experience, hard work and luck (finding the right person) where you can the opportunity to practice whatever you pursue. Diploma's are great, but employees love real experience.

YES You need school, if you want an ACTUAL career you need the grades and to pass senior high. You can't just act it, if a REAL job wants a worker, they need proof of your education. Trust me if you want to go into the field of science or health you need the good reports to get the career. Even to be a mathematics teacher you need to have passed year 12.
