But the two books after barracuda i read halfway each lol and never picked them up again. i mean it was interesting but the feeling isnt there anymore, u dont have his funny lines as much as u did in those first two books. which of the first two books did u like better?

I'd say the first one, but both were good. The second one just killed off too many characters, and never wrapped itself up in some ways. And the *spoilers* nuke was kinda over-the-top.

no, not at all... in fact it was probabley my favorite book... but a lot of action, but every other chapter it would talk about the story line, then after that the action/sex part hehe... but you should really think about getting it... TOM CLANY'S SPLINTER CELL: OPERATION BARACUDA... it's about the splinter cell disarming a nucualer bomb... which is locatated on the water mobile thingies... and the action is great like i said, and a lot of adult conduct...

Not if you play it right. The main purpose of a splinter cell is to go unseen. Most people that play the game just sneak through and kill/KO every enemy.  That's not the way you're suppose to do it. It's much harder to sneak around every single one of them, unseen, at all times. Then to sneak back out again. However, there are times you can't avoid confrontation.

you're right, the point of Third Echelon, and Echelon it self, was for communications interception and data retrieval. Killing the enemy is for the army, the Navy Seals, etc. Splinter Cell is supposed to be an instrument that retrieves data. It just so happens that the medium of interception is a human being, because you can only intercept so much digitally.
