does anyone know what elliot will be doing in 2011. i know he will be playing in the ideal husband till febuary, but unfortunately will not be able to see him play. I will be coming to london for a couple of days this year and am hoping to catch him in some new play, hopefully a shakespeareplay in the globe again. anyone?
it's awfully sweet of him to mention his mother...he is my fav darcy, collin firth was ok, elliot cowan rocks! he's has a very sexy manly voice, looks good in short hair as well, though i prefer him in long locks in period clothings. He should play sherlock holmes.
Elliot is my new favorite Darcy! I thought he did an absolutely amazing job with the character. I found myself almost crying even when he did his emotional bits in Lost in Austen, he seemed so genuine. Ah! just love him. :)
I had an enormous public humiliation in fron of him (i e a "friend" telling him i kept on looking at his abs during the whole macbeth play where he played macbeth... very embarrassing! did i mention the whole cast was there?)
@IdontliveformyselfHA... that must have been embarrasing...although I always imagine that I would be composed and have a sensible conversation if I ever get to meet him( we live in the same city for heavens sake, our paths must cross someday) but I am 100% sure that I'll end up doing something that'll make me look like a right lunatic.
I saw him 2 days at the globe playing Macbeth!!!!! HE WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HENNNNCHHHH!!! literally- bulging with muscle- as he was half the time topless,, and u should have seen the sexual tension between him and lady macbeth! they were rolling around on the floor!! mmmmm sexyyy, best body I have seen!
@FilmFreak221 and I was wondering why I liked elliot when I saw him for the first time in macbeth. i love both heath and joseph. by the way i believe that joseph is the next heath
gorgeous!!! Lost in Austen was seriously great, I never thought it would be possible to make something like it without ruining Austen, but they managed to do it.
Okay, I just watched "Lost in Austen" early this week and I am so impressed by this man. I didn't think any man could come close to Colin Firth's Mr. Darcy but this guy was absolutely incredible in the mini-series.
Hope to see him in more films here in America. Elliot Cowan please come to America!
Ok, it's obvious hair does make a difference to many people, but who cares. . . EC is gorgeous any way you look at it. Seems like a sweetie too (I'd like to find that out myself. . .)
I'm surprised at so many comments about his hair, or relative lack thereof. I first saw him in Lost in Austen, so I was surprised to see his "real" hair since it looks so different. But I still think he's way handsome and kind of like him better the natural way. A gorgeous man is a gorgeous man, with or without hair. Thanks for posting this clip!
Errr, no. I love the way EC looks WITH hair, not so gorgeous without. Hair does make a difference to many of us! He looks more like just a nice-looking guy without hair, but like a movie star with his wigs in LIA and Egypt! it's a preference. Maybe EC doesn't like fat girls. That's his preference.
Wow...you have posted a video that many many people want to see..and thankfully they still can..please continue to add to your collection as I am enjoying them. To those without manners...post your comments somewhere else.
Apparently YOU haven't done your research because that's not true. Increase testosterone promotes hair growth. A receding hairline is often due to genetics.
Thank you for your informative reply. Genetics AND hormones are factors, but I've no wish to argue science. I wish point out that a receding hairline is not a factor in male desirability. My comment was intended to deflect your comment which was cruel and uncalled for. And now, goodbye to youtube, which you have proved to be just another anonymous forum for social snarkiness and rude behavior, sans consequences.
Omg, why is he so damn hot? Gosh! I ♥ you Mr. Darcy. :D

He reminds me a little bit of Heath Ledger.....just a little. He was superb on Hercules Poirot's Taken By The Flood!

Honestly, I don't think he did that great of a job as Mr. Darcy. He needed more depth, maybe.

Heath Ledger + Joseph Gordon-Levitt = Elliot Cowan. Both in looks and talent!

If Heath Ledger (may he rest in peace) and Jared Harris had a baby, (yes, I know it's physically impossible) Elliot Cowan would be it. lol.

Apparently you're unaware that a receding hairline is a sign of increased testosterone.
