While I do not for a moment condone or even understand why someone would kill innocent civilians, military training is designed to stress the human mind and not all people can take the stress. When people like that are placed under the enormous stress of a combat situation it makes perfect sense that such stress may manifest itself in such a tragedy. Keep in mind, this sort of massacre is no new thing as it happened in Vietnam several times, and always with a much larger body count.
One thing that I find really shocking about this is how some people I know have reacted to the soilders. For example I told a person in school this and she said, "No. That didn't happen because are soilders are defending are freedoms and are heros and they would never do that."

The sad thing is, once we start noticing what the "Kill Team" has been up to, the same mentality they have over sex offenders will occur. Actually, I think it is over spending that is killing our economy, not the US Army. If we were to:
1. Cut 1 percent out of all Government spending
2. Tax Lower classes 500, Middle Classes 1000 and Upper class 4000 dollars per head in house hold
We'd actually be in a pretty good boat. The deficit would be gone for the most part and, overall, programs wouldn't be too greatly affected.
Though, the only part of Government I wouldn't cut would be the Foster Care system.

Nor does it have anything do with the inefficient prison system and the trillions that are spent to house drug users alone, not to mention trillions more spent to house repeat violent offenders. No blame the Army because it sure as hell hasn't done anything useful in the past, like giving us our independence and helping us preserve it.

While I do not for a moment condone or even understand why someone would kill innocent civilians, military training is designed to stress the human mind and not all people can take the stress. When people like that are placed under the enormous stress of a combat situation it makes perfect sense that such stress may manifest itself in such a tragedy. Keep in mind, this sort of massacre is no new thing as it happened in Vietnam several times, and always with a much larger body count.
