All those who believe in Yahshua (Jesus) have been redeemed from the curse of the Law. We are under grace not the Law. The wages of sin are death, & the price of sin is blood. They could only offer up pure animals to the altar for atonement, hence why Jesus was pure & sinless. He was the FINAL sacrifice for sin. You can dispute this all you want to, but it clearly says it in the Scriptures, both new & old testament.
Do you know that sacrifices was not the only form of atonement? Jesus was not sacrificed according to sacrificial law. Human sacrifice was rejected by God! Christians get 300 from trying to number every little thing they can find in one verse. He fulfilled no 300 prophecies, believe me. Sorry but Isa 7:14 is not of a virgin birth, nor is it the birth of the Messiah. The word used in Hebrew is not betulah (virgin), but almah (young maiden). Also Immanuel means God is with us, which was a message to Judah concerning their immediate threat. Just read Isa 8:10 to see how your translators translated it.

"Yahshua" became "Yeshua", His Jewish name. When translated into the universal Greek it was spelled "Iesous". The "I" is pronounced "ee", and the Greeks did not have the "sh" sound in their language. They also put an "s" on the end of many proper names. Just a language form, nothing to do with the god Zeus. When brought over into English the translators used the Germanic "J" which was pronounced like a "Y" (as in German "Ja" for yes). Later the "J" became hard. "Jesus" = "Yeshua" = "Yahshua".

Be very careful here. The next one coming that the Jewish people will think is the Messiah will be the antichrist. He will be allowed power for only seven (7) years. The first 3 1/2 years will be somewhat peaceful & throngs of Jewish people and the world will think he is their "Saviour". @nilhav Why don't you learn why Jesus is our Messiah and why he had to give his life for our redemption? It goes back to the Tabernacle & the sacrificing of animals for atonement of sin. The wages of sin are death, & the price of sin is blood. They could only offer up pure animals to the altar for atonement, hence why Jesus was pure & sinless. He was the FINAL sacrifice for sin. You can dispute this all you want to, but it clearly says it in the Scriptures, both new & old testament.

Sorry but Isa 7:14 is not of a virgin birth, nor is it the birth of the Messiah. The word used in Hebrew is not betulah (virgin), but almah (young maiden). Also Immanuel means God is with us, which was a message to Judah concerning their immediate threat. Just read Isa 8:10 to see how your translators translated it.

IF this Rabbi, referred to Yeshua of Nazareth, Christians need to realize that in no way would he believe in the Roman Jesus & theology that they believe. When will Christian realize that they are so far off than they realize? By using this as a claim that a Rabbi revealed Yeshua only hurts Christian claims, because they believe in another Jesus, an antichrist.

Lets be honest, if he said the name of the Messiah is Yehoshua, does that mean he is talking about Jesus of Nazareth? NO! Jesus Hebrew name was a shortened version, Yeshua, not Yehoshua. This is a common name such as Yehoshua son of Nun, servant of Moses. So does it mean he is talking about a man from the past or a man from the future? Do you all know that it is believed that the soul of the Messiah awaits in heaven until his time? So how do you know if this Yehoshua isn't one that awaits?

@nilhav: Good point. But Jesus name was Yeshua in Aramaic, in hebrew it is Yehoshua. People should read the tenach and the new testament and then judge. I believe personally that he was and is HaMassiach. But not in a Christian pagan way.

If the precious Jewish people would seriously look at what the prophet Daniel wrote: Daniel 9:25. Study...Do the MATH. It gives you the time to look for Messiah. It is a bit complicated but if you go by the Jewish calendar... it points to 33 AD. The day Yeshua entered the Temple by way of the eastern gate. The Christians call it Palm Sunday. No wonder he cried... "They did not know the time of my visitation". Yeshua is coming back soon. He is faithful to His people. Cry out to Him.
