@AvatarRoku1 the lyrics are different because they had to fit Arabic language into English. Originally, Lion King is english, so instead of remaking LK 60 times (one of those times being arabic) they had to fit their lang. into the English mouth movements. That didn't work, so they had to change the lyrics. That goes for ALL of the other languages...from Arabic to Zulu. So if u look of lyrics for.another lang.the lyrics will be diff. from English lyrics. i lrned that from other ppl. :/

I'm sorry, but I don't get this whole dialect thing.

From what I understood, the dialects are all rooted within the Fooskha, (or literary) Arabic language. It means that vowels and consonants differ from place to place, even though that is not the "right" way to speak the language and pronounce them.

It's all about skipping annoying sounds while speaking.

Doesn't that mean that the 200+ dialects are more like 200+ distortions of the original language rather than "dialects?

It's only in Egyptian dialect, but mostly the other dialects pronounce the "ق" as "G" like in Sudanese and the Gulf dialects. :)

@2shaila2 ramadan is a month where all muslims fast (im not sure how 2 spell that) for a month... well untill al maghreb prayer than they can eat anything they want (except for forbidden food such as pork) and then they wait untill al fajer prayer and then they repeat it all over again for a month... and you can fast any time you want :) so mainly its a muslim thing xD

United Arab Emerates,Saudi Arabia,Bahrain,Qatar,Oman,Kuwa­it,Yemen,Iraq, Syria,Lebanon,Palestine,Jordan­,Egypt,Sudan, Libya,Tunisi,Algeria,Morocco,M­auretania, Somalia,Djibouti and Comoros Islands.

Each one of those countries has its own dialect of Arabic that come from the formal Classical Arabic..but the differences between dialects is like the difference between British and American English..

In here, Disney chose to dub their movies in the Egyptian dialect cuz it sounds funnier, but all the other Arab countries undertsand it too, and the movies are labeled as the Arabic versions and not the Egyptian versions. :)
