Back when I was 20, I was driving my car too fast down a road I was not familiar with. It was storming and was not used to driving in the rain. Out of no where a man's voice very quickly spoke loud right in my ear, "Grab the wheel hard NOW". I didn't question it...I grabbed the wheel and my car crossed over a bridge that made my car hydroplane. There is no doubt in my mind that I would have lost control of my car. Who that man was is a mystery, but whoever you are - Thank you, you saved me.
I had an experience 2 summers ago. I usually drive one block before I turn on my home street. At half a block a voice told me STOP THE CAR. As I did so I noticed a pickup behind me. Instead of driving around me, the man driving stopped the truck next to my car and said and did some very obscene things before I spent the next half hour driving around in circles so this creep wouldn't see where I lived. If I hadn't stopped he would have followed me to my driveway. I am sure I avoided something.
I don't hear these as clearly as some of your other catches, but it is intriguing that you hear "the black sea musket" at the same time your dad was showing it to some people.
I don't quite hear it though. I used headphones to see if I could hear the same thing and all I could hear was noise. That doesn't mean it isn't there. I've passed up several EVPs from investigations that I finally caught at later dates. You have had some good catches, this isn't your best but your track record is good.
EVP's are funny that way. Sometimes I have my oldest son listen to a clip for a sounding board, and sometimes he'll immediately make it out (duh mom, it says "hello") and other times he hears even less than I do. I try listening in Audacity and RealPlayer back and forth, sometimes I "sleep on it" - and sometimes when it gets to youtube I hear even more. It's something with the sound conversion or how "tired" my ears get. I think ;P
I can't help but think it was done with the intention of getting me to engage my dad. Imagine being him handling the gun and then getting a call from me hundreds of miles away asking him about it ;P
If it's not the grandmother's musket, it is probably a reference to the land the house is on, as muskets were used during the Seminole Indian wars which were fought here. It was just interesting my dad had just been handling the one that has been in the family.

I have heard about spirits being close to objects before like Pairanormal guysinc said some how energy could have been let out.

I could see family being connected to the old gun for sure. And of course most of us are familiar with famous haunted dolls.
