Tales of Symphonia... Ahh, Good times. I remember when I used to beat that game over and over. Too bad I got bored after the 7th one. Funny thing is... I always had between 50-60 hours. Never anything else. something like 54 hours or 59 or stuff like that. Never could beat "Mithos Y." the VERY first time you go to the tower.
Whoever says Masaya Onosaka and Nana Mizuki don't fit the characters they voice are friggin' high.
A certain death scene in this game sounds a lot better in Japanese because he adds a tone of suffering to his voice, where the English version just sounds like he's tired and about to faint. The English casting is decent, but the Japanese seiyuus have a lot more experience in voicing these type of anime-ish characters.
If you're a fan of Sheena, you might just enjoy a parody series called the adventures of Ranulf an Soren, with her as a regular starring character! Get it from my pro.
Yeah, in the manga (I read it in Japanese), he goes "Ore-samaa?" to Lloyd when he asks him want he wants to do after they defeat Yggdrasill. He's so cute and conceited. xD
Shena is just telling Zelos not to do any thing to Collette. He asks why. and shenna says because he tried to look at her in the shower once. And he says that he was just curios about the unknown. Or something like that.
Lol. I know what he's saying, I played the game in english. I'm jsut saying it's a shame the japanese version has voice acted z-skits while the english version does not. It's not a major complaint, i just find that funny. And sad. *sad face*
A bit late to reply after the fact but he only dies in the first game if you choose a distinctly non-canon option which gets Kratos back in the party.
It seems like the English version really skimped out on a lot of voice work. Not that I care... I don't listen to the voices anyway. I can only stand them enough to watch the ending. I almost wish the PS2 version was released in the US. It could have the option of English voices, Japanese or none. And the translations could be like dead accurate because there aren't any mouth flaps to match except the ending. The only thing I'd miss is my GC data XD I just love Sheena's biker costume!
