  • Your wrong repubs and dems are one of the same, they are both puppets of the international bankers. I don't see the democrats getting rid of free trade in fact they are strengthening free trade deals around the world, and even signing new deals. You talk about inflation, what you need to understand is there is no inflation. All commodities are going up gold coper steal everything, If you were paid in gold or silver like the constitution says, prices would of remained flat. Ron Paul for president

  • hey partner--before you go doing Policy analysis, I feel compelled to tell you that the plural of Policy is Polcies--not Policys...

  • @onestupidman Howdy partner.

  • @gmcbuses :D

  • I"m all for the feds 600 billion dollar stimulus. The US dollar should go to where it is at least lower than 10% of what the Canadian dollar is. That will cause US exports to go up. More jobs here. These developing countries China, and others could care less about us. China, Japan, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil and developing countries should be tariffs on goods made there that cost more than 70 dollars, to get those goods made here in the US again. higher US GNP.

  • @gmcbuses US GNP goes up, less deficits, more jobs. People in the US will have more money to buy goods period. 200 billion should be cut in US defense spending, not domestic spending. Getting less goods made in China means they will not have money, to continue trying to expand their Navy, and Air force to record numbers. To counter their rising Navy, the US navy should have a rising presence in the Pacific.

  • @gmcbuses

Why do you think China will let use impose high protective tariffs? We owe them a trillion dollars, they have us by the balls. In fact, that makes even less sense in conjunction with your other statement, that China is building up their navy to rival ours. This would imply China is quite openly hostile to the U.S., and so they would probably not let us tax their exports in order to stimulate our economy just to recoup their investment as that would strengthen the nation.

  • @wraithsrock5 People, entities that get anywhere speakup. It is time we have to speakup. Get what is rightfully ours. China is being hostile to us. I honestly believe China wants to take us down. They do not mind that debt, getting their investment back. They just look at that, as the cost of their growth going up. They only care about themselves.

  • @gmcbuses The OPEC countries care more about the US, than China does.

  • Actually the unemployment rate became a problem after 2007, which is right after the Democraps took control of Congress.

And this exodus of American manufacturing began in the 80s, but jumped after NAFTA, enacted by Bill Clinton.

I'm not saying Bush did what he could to reverse this, but he wasn't the cause.

And granted, Budh didn't fund the shoring up of New Orleans' levies, but neither did every President before him. Yet you lay no blame at their doors.

  • @NoGuff No, yous Republicans started to recognize it as a problem in 2007, it was happening in mass numbers 2004 to 2007. During the Clinton years unemployment was at only 5%. NAFTA did not do much damage. Canada is a developed country similar to the US. Mexico does buy products from 33 States. The problem started when Bush enacted total free trade with China. Right after that US factories closed in mass numbers. That caused the housing crises. Yous Republicans could care less.

  • @gmcbuses Republicans called years 2004 to 2007 boom years. As common people wher suffering with ultra high inflation these years, high unemployment, mass factory closings, mass foreclosures as a result of factory closings. High record prices of oil. It was not till 2008 Bush started to recognize it as a problem. Simple you knock out the bottom people, people in the middle, people at the top will fall down. Bush only cared when banks and large corporations ended up in trouble as result of it.

  • @gmcbuses Millions of jobs lost to China, because of Bush enacting total free trade with China, equaled the housing crises, equaled Banks and large corporations falling at the top. Bush"s twillion dollar tax cut meant nothing, because it was more than the US government could afford. Caused the high price of oil, vibrated through the whole US economy. Mass high inflation as a result. Bush did the 800 billion dollar bank bailout, also spent 10s of billions more bailing out other big corporations

  • @gmcbuses During the Clinton years the country had the best economy. In 2001 the US economy had reached the saturation point where goods wher mstly already bought.. I could see a 250 billion dollar tax cut to everyone making less than 250,000 a year. 100 billion dollars in tax cuts for everyone making more than 250,000. The twillion dollar tax cut which mostly went to the rich corporations, 2% of the population that wher the richest knocked out our currency = record prices of oil.

  • @gmcbuses Record prices of oil caused extremely high inflation from 2003, and on. Bush doing total free trade with China caused Chines to buy more cars with their new found money, causing record oil use, further upping the price of oil. The price of oil vibrates through the whole economy. Twillion dollar tax cut which mostly went to the rich, rich corporations the US could not afford. the thanks for doing it was these richies, rich corporations move their production jobs to China.

  • @gmcbuses Bush did a mighty fine job as the President of China. Destroyed the US economy. Went to war with Iraq for nothing. Weapons inspectors found nothing. Money that could of been used to help our own people, went to rebuild Iraq, which should of never been destroyed to begin with. Bringing down Iraq"s government unleashed extremist, Saddam had them hiding. Used less troops than wher needed. Didn"t close Iraqs borders causing insurgents to come in. Bush told Syria, Iran to do it. thats nuts.

  • @gmcbuses "mass numbers 2004 to 2007" --No, it wasn't a problem until 2007. You see, words do have meanings. "Clinton years unemployment was at only 5%" --The whole time? No, sorry friend. "NAFTA did not do much" --Nothing like that changes overnight. "total free trade with China" --You mean "most favored nation status," right? The same program started during Clinton's term, right? I believe Bush actually ended that. "That caused the housing crises" --Again, you're simply irrational.
  • @NoGuff Bush ended it. Where do you get your news from. Bush is for total free trade, with every country. Clinton took tariffs off some goods with China. Bush made it total free trade. There was some disputes, where it looked like there was dumping. I read the newspaper every day.

  • When Obama took office he said we are going to have to put a stop to this gas price gauging, when most of the gas has already been paid for ahead of time. He was right every week there was a new excuse for price jumps! After awhile of working with congress and agencies that stuff stopped! Prices do not spike every week for anything. It did on labor day but that is commerce and is a true demand reason. But Republicans tried to block him, defending the corporations, lets not go back to that.

  • Boom years? 2000 was there best year, coming off of Clinton's coattail. Then the economy went straight down! by 2005 I was paying $4 a gallon on gas! If Republicans are back they will continue sabotaging the economy, except they will have more power to do it. They will not have to just fillibuster, they can continue to block unemployment. Give tax breaks to the rich. This leaves less money to pay the bills or debt. They don't care about people as much as they do getting the presidency.

  • @indyman77 So much so, all they care about is getting the white house back, they are against some things Obama wants to do, that they actually like.

  • @gmcbuses Exacly! In fact they have made bills, and then turned around and voted against their own bills! They have made amendments to bills and voted against them too. They have bragged about wanting Obama fail, Sarah Palin has taunted about how are those changes going? Because they have backed up over 400 bills in the Senate with Filibusters. Anyone that is sabotaging the team so they can be in charge is a self centered and bad leader.

  • @indyman77 Filibusters should be illegal. A majority votes yes, that should be it. The minority can filibuster is a laugh, and a kick in the butt when it comes to Democracy, that the minority can block. Reconciliation should of been used each time they filibustered. Bush did it many times, to steamroll through congress, especially to get total free trade with china passed.

  • @indyman77 All Republicans want to do, is inflict more damage taking the US down, then they already did, through the years Bush was in the White House.
