  • Ive been in Kumon for 6 years. Its helped me in elementary and not much at all in junior high. Just sayin

  • Kumon is a business. it's a company. it's there to make money. and it does a pretty good job of it.

    remember that, folks.

  • KUMON sucks!Fuck Kumon!Kumon is stupid!

  • KUMON IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER. ALL IT IS IS JUST A CURRY INFESTED SMELLING PIECE OF CRAP THAT HAS INVADED BY STUPID CHINKS WITH NO HYGIENE AT ALL. UNLESS YOU LIKE OLD CHINESE LADIES YELLING THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF YOU FOR NOT USING "HAN SANTIZAR" I SUGGEST YOU DONT GO THERE.

too many indians i swear its like mumbai

  • i been doing it for half a year and 1 year advanced. Trust me but it really helps

  • I've been going to kumon for 4-5 years, and it made no difference at all. It just made everything at school way harder because now I have to do kumon work and school work -___-

  • Stop putting bad comments kumon helps you achieve things faster and better

  • Im doing Kumon now and my head hurts -.-

  • It's a werth less peas of shit

  • Yes but you arn't just paying for papers you are paying also for private tuition, electricity at the centre and for the markers and equiptment involved to learn. Plus its not thousonds of dollars it's £540 a year genius! Which is a small price to pay for a sucessful future in life..... Anyway who would want to thick?

  • @Rewina7 YOU are a faggot. You can't even spell faggot right!

  • Kumon is owned by some oriental organization trying to fool and screw the US parents into believing in their unethical business practice. The founders and share holders of Kumons live lavish lifestyle by fooling the less educated people. Even Kumon Franchisees are screwed by corporate Kumon. Kumon provides not a SINGLE IN-HOUSE TRAINING, You pay for papers not worth more than a dollar, yet pay thousands of dollars per year of your money and time so this Kumon bullshit can continue to rip you.

  • @CEOTerminator, you should use a spell checker :)

  • @CEOTerminator First of all, I used to go to Kumon and it was not bad, it did help me, but, it really was torture. I don't believe what you said was correct, and you shouldn't come to youtube to flame because your worthless child could not complete the kumon admission test. GTFO my level.

  • This is propaganda bullshit!!! This never happens at my Kumon centre...Each day i see at least 4 kids crying each day because of teachers!!!

    DESTROY KUMON

  • What is Kumon? Kumon is a pile of shit..thats what it is!

  • keep pressing hotkey 1 rapidly to see something scary

  • FUCK U MR TORU KUMON U FUCKED UP MY CHILDHOOD

  • ... why got 3.6 million students yet like half of it hates it? Im 11 and at K. Ohmygod I dont understand half of what the worksheet is learning.

    English.

Oh yaghh. I started at 3.

  • this is dumb and nerdy

  • I go to Kumon and I think it is pointless because at school we are doing pi + circumference but there they are making me do adding and subtracing , I'm 13 by the way

  • Kumon doesnt help mathletes at all. The material isnt all the same in per say, high school. Trust me, ive taken kumon and im so glad im out of that joint. Kumon may help students become better arithmeticians, but not mathmeticians. Its probably good at a young age but not when your older. Its a waste of time and takes alot of time out of your life. Id rather study for the SATs than this crap.

  • i used to go to kumon when i was younger...this was like in the early 90's...back then we used to have these little cases to put our math inside...i wonder if they still have those now...i loved that school

  • I find it stupid that I had to go to Kumon even though i was already really good in maths kumon only made me repeat everything I've done already and when I did get to a higher level I had loads of problems it gave me more frustration and they had such high expectations it was stupid like "finish a level I worksheet in 10 minutes" when you don't finish it that fast you do it again and it just piles up on top of your school homework and i get loads of homework

  • whoever is thinking about going i go and it sucks i have no choice

  • My brother used to have kumon.... He killed himself. :(

  • @xSlimezy Lol

    Remember me?

And also, I never said I HATE minecraft...I just won't know how it is until I get it...I don't have it yet.

    So leave me alone...

  • Level H is math is hard -.-

  • @TORNAD078 true dat it was frickin hard to get through G T^T

  • @TORNAD078 Thats why its lvl H=Hard

  • Kumon is worth it. Trust me. I know its tiring, boring and you just wanna skip and play outside or etc. But it really comes in handy in times of School Days. People who say "Kumon sucks donkey balls! or You're gonna go crazy if u go to kumon! " are a lazy bunch of people who doesn't like school. Well it is your choice.

  • level K reading right now

  • I always wondered, what's with the logo. My cousin pointed this out to me once and asked why the face isn't smiling.

  • @flareblaziken logo face is supposed to be a THINKING face. coz that's what Kumon gets its students to continue doing inside their heads. Kumon isn't about having fun in the common hedonistic sense.

  • @polarox66 Oh, thank you. I'll tell him that then.

  • @polarox66 I have great result in about 2 months Kumon: Check out in my channel.

  • I LOVE KUMON!! I just completed my Reading Program last Saturday.. KUMON IS REALLY EFFECTIVE!! -3

  • @cloudstrife507 , you have brain problems then.......

  • I loved it, until I got to Level J :(

  • @Blythe93 Level J separates the kids from the young guns. kids still show dependence on others in the hope that those others will help bail you out of your predicament.

the young guns are the worthy ones. they find patterns by themselves and don't break down.

  • Kumon is a bit fun to me.

  • @lovepuppies74 u fagget

  • My kids have been doing Kumon for nearly three months and are now flying through their normal Maths homework and don't struggle anymore.

  • @alexaust

kumon is an uphill climb. your kids' journeys are bound to get more and more difficult so expect some stress to build up. this means transformation is taking place within your child. at that point, your child will have been outside his comfort zone where things are uncomfortable. but then, that's what we parents pay for... for our kids to go beyond their self-perceived limitations and maximize their potential. ergo, don't let go because of the stress. hang on! push forward!

  • I do kumon(only math) usually it's a pain but it helped my math grades go to a b- to and a- i'm going to kumon this thursday

  • I'm in J math and I reading in gr 8 =D

  • well, i'm in I now and I'm just about to take my achievement test in J. Looks like I got through :)

  • Do all Kumon students start at the same level, or is it possible to start at different levels if the student is older?

  • Each child is different. The Kumon Method recognizes the comfort zone of each child and therefore starts the student at his comfort zone, not necessarily due to his age. With or without learning disorders, this principle will apply to every child.

  • @edirmd

each student starts at a level the child is initially comfortable with. ergo, older kids may start at much lower levels if their skill levels are not high or not even moderately satisfactory.

  • @edirmd kumon students take a placement test to see wich level they should begin at. if your a parent just go to sylvan or something.

  • I hope i'll love kumon... I will be starting this week... my parents did not force me... i'm the one who forced them. xD

  • @nomuk4ever hey umm...do not go there because they will kill you cuz they give you lots of homework so if you dare it isn't my thing to worriy about.

  • my mum is a kumon instructor and i mark the work

  • KUMON really helps....everyone should try KUMON...I'm doing it right now and really enjoying it!!

  • I actually love kumon. I'm already in H in math.

  • Can you start Kumon at any age or do you have to start before high school?

  • Yes, you can. In fact, it is much better absorbed by younger kids (as young as 3 years old). Kids who have been allowed to develop habits of inactivity (3+ hours of TV or video games a day) do have difficulty making the shift. It also takes a parent's leadership to help gear up a child's brain. But parents must also realize that this is a journey outside a child's comfort zone, which many a child may react negatively to such intellectual discomfort. Well, it will be a tug-of-war at some point.

  • @edirmd you can start at any grade you want

  • Wonderfull!!!!! I wanna a video like this in Brazil!!!

  • Are you also connected to any Kumon center in Brazil?

  • Yes, I´m a instructor here, in Brazil! And you????

  • IM IN G 145

  • keep going, sillysprinkes67! conquer thyself and you'll be stronger than ever, in mind and in spirit, as far as Kumon goes.

  • thank you!!! but i repeated hehe!!! Kumon phils.

  • that's perfectly alright. there is no mastery without repetition.

in kumon, when we repeat performing similar mental operations, we gain in improving how easy it takes us. any activity outside our comfort zone is new and has to be repeated so that it becomes part of our comfort zone.

  • i go 2 kumon n im on B!

  • I'm in J

  • kumon starts from the kid's own comfort zone. it also helps you become cool in school, so you gotta sweat it out first and do this way ahead of school time. now getting ahead means getting outside the child's comfort zone. naturally, not many kids love mental calisthenics these days. expect that the child will at some point want to quit. parents who are better leaders usher the kid to stay in the growth zone (a.k.a. uncomfortable zone) til it eventually becomes part of the comfort zone.

  • nah I'm on H its easy you know Simultaneous Equations and I finished the English programme within 3 months

  • The best sword is the one that had been plunged into the fire a thousand times more than the ordinary blade. Welcome the fire that prepares you for the uncertainties of competition that lie ahead. Nobody said it was easy. But this is the way to global competitiveness. This is Kumon!

  • i do kumon 2 out of my 3 brothers and sisters do it to

  • I go to Kumon and never saw this video!!
